We met Luciano on a previous cruise on Voyager. He may remember it, when he invited us to dinner, but our invitation got sent to somebody else instead. Thankfully it all got sorted out, and he was a perfect gentleman in how he handled the whole delicate situation.
Not sure how many years ago, but we were well cared for with the remunerative spirit of the company. We traveled from Argentina to Rio. Unfortunately for the new female Captain on her first voyage, the main generator died. Because of many factors we were stuck in Porto till a replacement could be found. It could only be delivered by truck over slippery, curvy roads during heavy rains. It was very unfortunate to be there five days, of course, not her fault. Regent gave each of us, couples, a sizable check to use for our next cruise with them. I might add that H. Stern provided us with a great tour of Rio, with a car and driver with our Guide Hany, we visited their factory store at the end of the tour to buy a lovely pair of earrings or whatever pleased us!
Jorge, when we were with you on Grandeur over Christmas and New Year’s, you were an absolute joy. You made our days and nights in Compass Rose very warm. The combination of you, our Nino, Denver, Hanna and the rest of the staff made a special cruise spectacular. Thank you for being the man you are.

Great video. Wish the final entertainment of the evening was not chopped off. All of the songs by the three amazing singers were worth viewing again. We are booked for 32 days in the Caribbean on this amazing ship. Sooo looking forward to that. 🙂
