Hi, I’m a guitar tutor in schools/online, session guitarist and live guitarist for CJ Wildheart. This channel is all about guitar related tutorials! I lean heavily on tutorial subjects, and genres that do not get as much attention as they deserve. Expect lots of Rockabilly, Swing, Jump blues, Alternative Rock, Punk Rock and anything that lands on the fretboard! I also have a Patreon page 'Twenty Flight Rock Guitar Clinic' for exclusive tutorials with downloadable extra content inc PDF tabs, guitar pro files, backing tracks & WAV stem files. You can also check out my original music on Spotify, Apple Music.
Thank you Corie, it was a fun one to do. I’ve got quite a few ideas for this at the moment 😁 I was toying with the idea of making a few T-shirts available 😁
Can’t wait to see this course unfold! I’m also looking forward to you expanding your content! You’ve got to do what inspires you & keeps you motivated 👍
Thanks, this course will land the last Friday of each month until I run out of ideas (or if views are non-existent 🤣). Yes thanks, with the day job I teach and play lots of genres and feel I need to mix it up a bit more on here 😁
Thank you mate. I’m the same as you, I only knew a few tracks, but I’ve really got into them recently thanks to Corie on my Patreon suggesting some X tutorials. All the best, Dean. PS I’ll be doing some more X lessons 👍
Thank you. That’s the Gretsch 6120 Setzer Hotrod (Candy Apple 2002). It’s a great guitar to play! All of the online tutorials are usually done through one of the Neural DSP (or Blackstar St. James) plug-ins. Thanks, Dean.
Hi Corie, you and everyone on Patreon will have access to this lesson a few weeks before it goes live on RU-vid 👍 (PS there’s a full playthrough going live in a hour on Patreon 😁). Thanks for all your support 👍
Thanks! Yes, I put a vote on Patreon about mixing the content a bit more regards musical genre’s. The most votes received wanted to mix it up a bit. I will always be dropping Rockabilly & Roots lessons on here, but this also gives me a bit of room to look at other things I like as well. 👍
Never said I was, no one Is. Everyone has there own unique DNA when they play, and everyone takes influences from others. Some share things that they learn along the way. Thanks for taking the time to leave the comment 👍
It's amazing what a cool little riff, a powerful driving rhythm, four chords, and nice vocal can make if they are executed really well. Great song!!! Thanks for spelling it out even though it's pretty simple.
My pleasure! For all of my tutorials I use amp plug-ins. I’ve got a handful of sounds saved so I can just crack on with the lesson. I believe I was using the Blackstar St. James plug-in on this occasion 👍
Hi, I believe I was using the built in delay in Neural DSP in this lesson. Most delay pedals will get you that sound. The Nocturne mystery brain, NUX tape echo, Boss RE2, even the budget pedals will get you there 👍
Really appreciate that, thank you. It is a the Gretsch 6120 Setzer Hotrod model from 2015. The pups are great on it. All of my online tutorials are done through amp sims, this one was with the Blackstar St. James. They are just great to “plug & play”, I have my sounds saved and I can get on with the lesson. Thanks 😁
