Hi friends! I’m Emm, a 30 year old mathematician living in Knoxville, TN. When I’m not solving problems for a living, you’ll find me with a pen in my hand and an audiobook playing in the background. I’ve got a lot to manage so planning is an absolute MUST. Buuuuuuut that doesn’t mean that it can’t be fun at the same time! Here at Plan with Emm we are all about stickers, washi, and colorful pens to bring a bit of joy to the page. (And sometimes cat drool… ugh) Whether you want to see me trying out cool new planner ideas, nerding out about upcoming book releases, or reviewing everything I can get my hands on, we’ve got a little bit for everyone.
I don't know if this is a thing, so tell me to sit down if need be, but could she like sign a sticker and then you could put it into the book when it arrives? 😛💜
Tysm for the review! Some people have complained about the light emitting a buzzing noise, have you noticed anything like that? I'm wondering if every lamp comes like that or if it's just some
I enjoyed watching. I just got mine. It is the pre-built I bought in the Mother's Day sale. I'm still tired from getting it inside because I live in a small apartment. I had to hurry to get it inside. I still have to put it together. Great job! I subscribed and liked your video. Thanks for sharing!
I use Libby so much, from Johnson City. I think all of TN pulls from one online source. I ended up getting a Harris County TX card online to extend my Libby choices.
Great video❤ congrats on your house, obsessed with the cute Pokémon stickers, and love your nail color! Enjoy setting up your new spaces, and remember to take lots of deep breaths and walks outside during the process so that overwhelm doesn’t surpass the fun of it.🎉
I hope to finish a book in April. I am reading Thud! from Sir Terry Pratchett for a few months now, I think. Thank you for your video. I've been trying to understand better what is a reading journal and what you put on it. I ended up making one ad-hoc for myself, with just an image of a cover and the progress of pages read through time.
My reading journal doesn’t have monthly spreads. I have some beginning spreads like a reading log, a genre & series tracker, and a book bingo. I do make pretty spreads for most books I read and use monthly tabs to help me see what I read for each month. It can be whatever you want it to be for whatever matters the most to you
I just love your videos. I completely relate to just working and trying to read, yet not keeping up with my reading journal. I find myself writing all the summaries for each book all together at the end of the month lately. Smh. I need to do each one as I finish each book. I just get so tired though and life is so busy. Good luck on moving soon!!! 🙂💛
My last preorder was for Iron Flame. I don't buy the physical book unless I have already read it and loved it and want it as part of my collection. Book I just finished last night from the library was the John Stamos memoir.
I haven’t preordered anything in a while but the last book I checked out of the library was The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb, and it was excellent.
I have added so many spreads to the back of my journal because I forgot about them until after I set up my first monthly. Including my actual reading log. 🤦♀ Also, you have given me an idea that I should track my library books. Not what I've saved necessarily (although I love that idea), but just that I've checked books out and then I've read and returned them. I have a stack of at least 10 books from the library that I need to read sitting on my dining room table! Sounds like yet another spread for the back of my journal.
It's incredibly refreshing to watch a setup video where someone goes back and forth because they thought of something to add after they changed the page. I do that ALL THE TIME!! 😂
I'm in K-ville! How would one join your book club?! If you enjoy gothic/suspense/mystery, highly recommend Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. TW for questionable con, btw.
I've been waiting for this video! Subscribed, and I'm excited for the journey with you! _ "Value the journey; it molds you into something extraordinary."
I love the books by the Indi author Sarra Cannon. The Shadow Demons Saga is so good! They are all 5 stars for me. I am reading Witch's Key by Sarra Cannon now. I love it so far. It has sucked me in.
I feel you on the family living out of town and not feeling like we have the time to take care of ourselves let alone the time off to travel. I tell myself it’s just the season I am in, it won’t last forever. ❤️🩹
Loved to hear all about all the fun & not-so-fun things in your radar, Emm.. Good luck with the House-hunt, It's such an incredible feeling being home-owners for the first time.
