This is off of LA117, south of Natchitoches, in the Kisatchie Ranger District. The bayou shot is near Kisatchie Falls and the rest is on Beasley Cemetery Road.
This is the best spot to wheel in Louisiana we have found. This video barely captures how much we covered, and we did not explore fully at all. Will definitely post more as I find spots though

@@charlesrobinson4741 I'm in SW Mississippi, so no. We have the Homochitto National Forest here, but I think it's going to be more for camping and hiking and not so much for wheeling, though a buddy of mine says he has been down a few gnarly roads there.
All the driving shown in the video occurred on the actual named roads listed in the video. Surprisingly, the Ernest Cemetery Road portion is actually the road though it looks like a trail. There was plenty more to explore too.
In my opinion it depends on what’s within 3 hours of you. If you’re coming from the west or the north, it might make more sense to go further west or further north. But if you’re coming from the southeast, like Nola area, then yes, absolutely.
