@@baldodsgarage4795 Hi It's self-made I searched all over the internet but couldn't find it It would be nice to have that when replacing the timing chain cover It's a great item
Nice video, thank you : ) I have a 1990 cj205 with 1.4 engine. Ive had it 14 years , has worked well only had to weld 4 small patches to the floor. Its done 134,000 miles now
Oil feed to head was blown. Oil was leaking to coolant and outside of engine block. IMO healthy motor driven daily shouldnt have any Mayo. After repair coolant is clear again.
Its a shame that you don't upload videos anymore; as someone who doesn't know much about mechanics, it is really interesting to see how everything is put together.
Hello, I have some questions about some of the things you did. Did you use 10 of the standard red seals for the camshaft tubes? I've skimmed my head 1,5mm and i'm afraid they will be to large now. Also, the holes you drilled before the air filter, does this make any difference to performance? Overall, a very nice and detailed video. Regards, Bert
Hello, I used standard red seals. You can buy adjustable pushrod covers allegrolokalnie.pl/oferta/regulowane-oslony-popychaczy-126p if You worry about leaks but factory ones work well up to 2mm. Holes in intake allow engine fan to force some air to engine. It is very popular mod. I would gues it adds about 1hp if done corectly (carb dont like to much holes) . Regards, Bartosz
@@baldodsgarage4795 thanks for the reply. I will try the standard ones then, hopefully it works. For now I will stay away from the air intake mod. First let's see if everything works before making new modifications. "Supercharging" does sounds tempting and with this car, every horsepower makes a difference.
@@baldodsgarage4795 Hi Bartosz, Just took the engine out again for some winter maintenance. I'm willing to try the air intake mod now. Do you have a link with some information on how to do it? (What size of holes to use, the amount? Should I block the existing intake or can I leave it? Or cut the existing intake completely off?...) Do you know if I need to re-tune the carb afterwards? Best regards, Bert
@@berre1994 Hi, Slight adjustment to carb will help but if You are on "rich" side of AFR You should gateway with it. forum.rezerwa126p.pl/printview.php?t=10363&start=0&sid=752de731d32aa38246b6c81101efbb10 Best regards
