Hello there, I arranged the transportation with the hotel during my booking. They have the hotel shuttle to travel between Hakuba train station and the hotel. In case you missed the shuttle, there's a bus terminal at Hakuba Happo village. Make sure to do a lot more research to go around town as transportation is a little tricky there. :) good luck and have fun!
It's at Science Park. :) It's considerably far from town, so it's more affordable. I believe you could also get this view at the other side of Hong Kong call Kennedy Town. Are you living in Hong Kong?

Today let me share a beautiful story on friendship.....😊😊 A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand; “Today my best friend slapped me in the face.” They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone; “Today my best friend saved my life.” The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him; “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?” The other friend replied; “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.” Moral of the story: Don’t value the things you have in your life. My preference would be Central Market, coz you’ll get more historical information about the place (it used to be a local market, now it’s chic and etc) and Pottinger street for sightseeing 😙
Woooo.....Amber. Took a Swiss colleague there back in 2006 as their sous chef was the only one to respond within 30 min of my enquiry for a dedicated full-course vegan menu. The other hotels (one of which was another "6 star" which I shall not name here tsk tsk) took as long as the next day to respond - that says something about their attention to service! When the bill came, Amber charged me regular price - for a tailored full-course vegan lunch prepared personal by the sous chef !!!!! That's sheer class of Amber. I've been a fan for life ever since!
Visited Kapok stores? Original ones were/are (I haven't been back for a few months) in the Star Street Precinct in Wan Chai. I get my shoes, Izipizi glass frames and Apple shell with matching neck strap from them.
