Love all your micro jet builds! I've got the v2 qf009 as well, and also done a BL pusher build with a f16 chuck glider, and a brushless conversion to a twin motor in-wing pusher F22
"She's not good at keepin' things in the viewfinder, really!" Seems to be a family trait! 😱🙄 Marking out your field of view with chalk/physical limits or, better still, tapping off the live video feed to a large screen just out of that field but where you can easily see it while jaw-flapping and opera conducting will improve your Spielberg skills no end. 😉😊
Try the thrust test with the other way around. With the nose on the scale pushing downward. Not that it will change much. But it’s more accurate. Oh. There is a 3s 35mm brushless motor and fan unit you can buy to fit in them. They’re only about 30 bucks on eBay.
It needs itt lol!! Flew it and can barely barely do a loop if that'd what you call it. 2s 600mah wayy to hot by end of flight... will need better Lipps or shorter flights. It is weak, control response is slow compared to my lightning quick input pusher jets... can't expect same but it's considerably trickier to fly need a nice big open space. I fly around my house with the Micros pretty wild like all over the place and no way can edf do that... just not nimble. All good though it's a good soarer for sure!!!
Blew my mind 🤯 pls make some kind of tutorial on how to do things like this (how to install servo's and motors and how to connect everything to the board)
Uh, sorta.... or a 1/6th body "MEGA TRUCK'd" essentially SCX6 sitting on a 1/5th scale layout in terms of track width, wheelbase, and tire diameter. Yep!!
Great to see another vid ! I was doing some test runs on my Worlds largest 1/10 TRX and found out mines amphibious and a true all Terrain. Stoked to see another build thats not store bought junk to factory spec but actually made to work! Great job.
Thank you!! Def meant to be a hodge-poduge of parts to turn the mundane into something eye-tantilizing but fully functional as well. I think i can at least give an SCX6 a serious run for their money; at least keep pace on the same trails! 😇
That's odd -- wonder why? Elbowgreasey, yes? They don't want me gathering a following because i won't sell the soul for them and monetize so life foce can be sucked out of us. I refuse. If that means no subscirbers, oh well. Leave it to the tube to shaft - ola!!! Golly forbid you would be allowed to subscribe to some good ol' fashion OG style raw tube content made by amateurs for amateurs. ;)
Nice video my friend 💯💯💯💯💯💯 A very creative idea ❤💚❤💚❤💚 I look forward to seeing your designs. Congratulations on your journey forward💥💥💥💥💥💥 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Damn, those things got big, all of a sudden. Wow! Cool, another successful rescue. Try saying that three times fast, lol! jk jk! I imagine that one of them bigger rascals could haul both of the trucks featured in this video? Well, you tied down the load this time. That`s good, lol. That is a bunch of bad ass trucks, Son! Other than my old Challenger, I bought a car for the first time in a long time. I sent off for one of the new 1/16 Volkswagen Beetles. Have you seen them? I think that I have lost my mind on my monster truck. I just keep adding and changing stuff as it comes into my pea brain, lol. I just made some marks for the installation of 4 amplified speakers. If, I can pull it off, it will be hysterical. I think that I`m secretly jealous of how much that one big rig of yours weighs. I jest bought a new digital bathroom scale and I was thinking of having a little pool with my neighbors to guess the weight of my truck. Like a football pool. Buy a number corresponding to your guess and in the end the closest guess wins the kitty. Or something like. I live in an old folk's home and we all are bored out of our feeble minds. I`ve been trying put together a R/C truck rally, or such. With tug of was competion. A $15 New Bright vs A WPL RTR vs A WPL slightly modified vs A WPL on steroids. Getting all of the trucks/cars running for more than 5 minutes has been a bit. plus, me constantly changing stuff up, is not helping anything for sure. Plus, a big one is I`m trying to figure out how to haul all of the "Show" downstairs to the patio. Maybe one of those wagons with the ballon tires from Harbor Freight, or something, I dunno yet. It will be a bit before I have the star of the show ready. I`m also trying to figure out how to mount my phone to the main Remote. Do you have any tricks for that? All righty, I hope you have a great day, Bro!
Well thats a vast subject matter - - but i got thru it all. LOL ya someone on RC Crawlers forum told me my truck was puny back when it was at 19lbs..... so i shoved another 15+ in their face lol - - that shut em up quick! Love the projects, i'm bored too, lol, can you tell? Tinkering is never ending and it took me eons to get all these rigs running and working... Just keep at it is all i can say! Building is half the fun! Nothing special for camera, phone in a cheapo-ebay tripod with 3 bendable/moldable legs. Good luck with your builds!!
The MN 82 looks so good, I don't care how it performs. That is 1 nice-looking rig. Some wheel extension or different offset wheels would help with stability. Nice looking rig and awesome video 👍🏾🔥
Thank you! The chassis is already extended 2 inches from stock length!! I cut the chassis in half and joined back together with a steel "member" in the middle and extended the rear drive shaft. The axles are +1/2 inch per side form stock MN82 non-portal axles. I agree when i put the bigger tires on (Rock Crusher) i pick up a fair amount of offset and width, stability will def increase -- also i need to either get full metal wheels or add lead weights to the plastic wheels to get some extra weight down low. Thank you for the compliments!!! MN82 is a sweet looking rig for sure, it almost broke my heart to hack it all up --- but someone had to do it and document it LOL!!! :)
@Idontdohandles OH yea. You know what's going on, I see. 😊👍🏾 I'm a week in with my 1st rig smaller than 1/10. And it has been more fun than I ever would've imagined. I'm still wondering what wheels and tire combo to fit stock height. The lift was an awesome idea. Nice rig an awesome footage 👍🏾🔥
Not much.... that's low gear on a TRX4 2 speed transmssion and Ryft axle standard gearing with a 50% reduction from the Vitavon Portals. I'd say 3-4mph absolute max on 4s. Maybe can get to 8mph on 8s it is capable running up to 8s. But still not meant for any speed at all really.... it loves low gear!!!! I have to walk swiftly to keep up with it in high gear in grass if that gives an idea. Geared all for torque!
Yeah im happy with that to be honest... just enough to thrasha tiny bit if desired... good wheels speed for snow or mud too! @@KonstantinosVavoulidis-cj6yy
I went with a narrower brushless motor, D2225 2000kv, no running, is that a MN78 frame lol? Oh you modified the stock frame gotcha, my metal gearbox had ton of play in it, if you get the one with the bearings, haven't tried the identical replica, can't be great wi6metal on metal contact tho...
Idk... watch it drives -- runs strong and solid!! Does have some play front to back but what driveshat driven rig doesn't? You are correct I sliced the MN82 Chassis in half and put a steel plate member in the middle creating 2 inches of wheelbase extension!! Cool eh? I bet yours goes alot faster with 2000kv if it's on the same 3 gear trans? But I'm geared intentionally to get extreme slow crawl speed to get the bigger tires to break over tall obstacles... I am also gonna run this on 95mm tall / 35mm thick big beefier Rock Crusher 1.9's.... need all the torque it can deliver!!! 😊
My FMS K10 transmission started slipping on low gear after I got stuck in some thick grass and I’m hoping I can just change out the transmission for a new one. I’d like to use metal gears & just fix my current transmission but I didn’t know it would be to much work to install the metal gears into it!
It also makes clicking noises on low gear & on neutral. When I put it in high gear it acts fine with a tiny bit of clicking noise. What should I do next?
Yes man don't do it - the metal gears parts suck. Just buy the brass metal gear transmission with two-tone red/silver on Ali Express - its $27. Worth every penny, pre-assembled and fully greased! Install the shifter servo, put the whole thing in your rig and go!!! wait. I'm confused. My mn82 does not need to be cut to open the truck. it is available separately with clips and screws. can be separated at any time without damaging the original shape
Whats confusing? I cut the chassis in half to add in 2 inches of length or extension. It looks cool and gave me something to do... wooden flatbed setup!!
