its so stupidly deceptive. BEtween this and the mike tyson mystery show i can see why jake paul would THINK he can fight him. But like pigeon said man: "Sometimes we forget thats mike fucking tyson. he could actually just kill you"
I remember I used to play this at my local laundromat when I was a little kid, and every time I picked up a powerbar, I thought it was a small Tide detergent box like it was some sort of product placement lol
I remember I use to play this when I was young back when this game was around at an arcade pizza place called BIG Z The music from the game is so memorable and the most nostalgic part of it that I remember I’ve only played at the beginning part of the game I never actually played through the whole thing it reminds me a lot like Jurassic park arcade the one we have right now but different this along with the emergency ambulance arcade game we’re part of my BIG Z arcade childhood life
If I remember correctly, you have to do some minor editing to a config file within the emulator to set up which player uses what for controls. There are many easy to understand tutorials across YT, I would recommend any of those.
Man I really miss this game even though some of it was pretty jank. I played that modded version that came out a couple years back but could not really get back into it. The players there were super sweats and toxic and the tic or timing of the servers seemed to be in their favor. There was huge delays and did not handle lots of players well. Will have to check and see if it's still around and improved. I don't don't see there being another GITS game anytime soon being as the fanbase is older now and most people never heard of it.
While I have some respect for any fanbase trying to revamp or create fan-made servers to keep games alive; that is one thing that I always hated, the toxic sweats lol.
Everything has been said already since you posted this 6 years ago 😂 but man this was my favorite game to play at an arcade mall with my dad when I was little. I would not want to play any other game. I miss it, it’s hard to find in any arcade. keep promising myself to play with my daughter if I ever find it somewhere or we get a similar “Wii” console to play it with
I enjoy reading about everyone's different experiences, so no worries there. As far as playing this on a... "wii", you could always get one of those aftermarket 3rd party IR lightgun machines and "install" the game onto it. If you know you know 👍
I remember playing this game at Chuck E Cheese as a kid with my pops as player 2 and when this screen hit I told him to jump off because it’s gonna blow! I leaped off the seats and rolled on to the floor and he just got off so calmly 😂 Great memories with this game 👍🏼
This went past my homepage for some reason and it unlocked a core memory of my childhood, a very long time ago. I loved watching other dudes play this in the arcade, one time I saw a big muscular dude wearing a tank top that used both sticks at once, looking exactly like the kinda commando the players are supposed to be. Never could play it myself, because the bloody opening act was a T-Rex chasing you, and my little kiddie heart just couldn't handle that, but now I can. Thanks mate.
I had the fight or flight kick in as a kid, but when the bench seat moved during gameplay I just thought it was too cool to stop playing. Back in the day, I only got as far as the legs stomping around lol
I hate how short of a life this game got. I still remember putting in so many hours into it on my crappy laptop with the hopes of one day getting a proper PC setup to experience it at its best. The game died before I got the build.
