Doctor Who - eras, events and costumes reviewed by PertweeFan.

My favourite Doctor is Jon Pertwee, who I met 3 times.

The ones I grew up with are Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy. They are the first ones I remember watching.

Guess What.

God loves you so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins. If you believe in Him, turn from your sins, and make Jesus the Lord of your life, you will have eternal life with Him in Heaven.

Pray This Prayer.
"Lord Jesus Christ,
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever.
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Amen."

Thank you for sharing this. I saw Jon in The Ultimate Adventure in April 1989 in Aberdeen - where I grew up. It was a great evening and I can still see in my mind when he walked on stage and raised his cape up with bith arms the place erupted! God bless you sir 🙏

Interesting to note - The red velvet jacket has purple lining, to match the cape he wears with it. Likewise, the midnight blue jacket he wears in series 7 has a red lining to match the cape it is paired with.

Brilliant! ‘I am completely surrounded by no beer’ was absolutely hilarious. He must have been wonderful to have had round a table for discussions. Geoffrey is no doubt sorely missed.

Jonathan, you can get Three's red jacket from either Cosdaddy, Hellocosplay or Cosplsysky on eBay.

I too love the red lined cape and this outfit Jonathan. One of my favourite Third Doctor costume variants. Do you have a favourite Third Doctor costume variant?
@andrewdeakin906
@andrewdeakin906 5 лет назад
I too love the purple lined cape Jonathan. Shame it was dropped after The Mutants. Should have kept it in till the end of his tenure. Not sure if I prefer it over his earlier red lined cape. Love them both equally myself. 😊 Do you plan on getting his blue lined cape from The Three Doctors?

Didn't Three not wear a purple velvet jacket in Planet of the Daleks PertweeFan?

I would say the jacket in Planet of the Daleks and The Five Doctors is maroon.
@andrewdeakin906
@andrewdeakin906 5 лет назад
@@PertweeFan Fair enough. Love that jacket in Planet of the Daleks. Also don't know if you share the same opinion as me or get me Jonathan, but one thing that kinda bothers me about The Third Doctor's final two seasons is that the colour scheme changed every story. I like his outfits in The Three Doctors, Death to the Daleks, Planet of the Daleks and Invasion of the Dinosaurs. But I don't like the rest in the other stories. Prefer the more straight forward looks from Seasons 7 to 9 if you know what I mean with the red, orange and blue velvet jackets and with the red, blue or purple lined capes. You share a similiar opinion?

Read a comment about Jon Pertwee the other day saying he was always trying to make money, but i don't see that as a fault in Mr. Pertwee, i have worrked in construction for over 20 years and every man i have ever worked with has been concerned with where his next job was coming from and how he could make more money in the job he was doing, same work ethic, different industry.

Tom Baker is my favorite Doctor as well. Brilliant, funny, witty, charming, rebelous, angry at times, moody, smart, heroic, fallible, alien but caring and sexy. These all describe Tom's Doctor for me. After watching all the Doctors Tom is the most believable and natural in the role for me. Brilliant portrayal in every way! I hope role meet the legendary and iconic Tom Baker one day. My list for favorite Doctor's would be this: 1. Tom Baker (the best) 2. Peter Capaldi 3. Matt Smith 4. Patrick Troughton 5. Pertwee & Eccleston 7. Hartnell & Tennant Your so lucky to have met Tom. He seems like a total sweetheart. Did you read Tom's interview in Doctor Who magazine #501? Are you going to see Tom in November at Big Finish Day? Great video. God bless.😀
