I noticed, in most media and shows, black women are portrayed to be the "whores." In Power Caridad (the college professor at Tariq's college) was hypersexual, in Scandal, Kerry's role was to be the mistress to the white president, etc. That's kind of why I stopped watching tv..
Facts...they gave me diploma & I failed 12th grade...I decided to go to trade school & realized I was reading at a 6 grade level.....now I spend my time educating myself...I thank GOD I'm doing good
I have had a gang of immigrants start talking shit in front of me. I couldn't understand what they was saying. I thought to my self if black ever had to fight one of these groups.we are going to be in trouble. immigrants are getting jobs because they speak a different language.
We all are very aware of what occurred. We can't heal this land or hearts and minds by reliving a time many of us didn't have anything to do with. This does nothing but pulls scabs from old wounds.
