HI! My channel will show some of the things I love to do. I have a build series on the metal building that was installed, I have a lot of get togethers at my house, so it seemed fitting to put up a space to contain the madness. I also love to ride my Harley, I regret I did not have the channel when we were building that. I also like to do a lot of car stuff, I will post my interests here, so please like and subscribe. The newest obsession is the 97 Chevy Silverado C1500 extended cab truck OSB.
Quick fix. Love it. Only 8 hours. I do automotive and sometimes I’m like should only take 1 hour. 3 plus hours later I’m like. WTH. Automotive is not hard, but some jobs are just something else. On occasion I say one hour And done in half the time. Those are good days when everything just goes right
The 111 is no slouch man. The torque hits like a sledgehammer. 116 likes to rev out better but torque wise they felt the same to me. The bigger question is the street glide now comes with a 117 and is 2 grand more than the base chieftain. Makes the Darkhorse look overpriced and underpowered
Does this have the ability to adjust the frequency for the subs? Im running to power acoustik mofo 122x and my boss 10" crapped out. Was looking at this so i could go full pa
@@okckingpingarage1589 glad to know. I did hear from them after I posted my comment. They said the soundstream version did have it but he wasn't sure about the PA version.
I just traded it in on a Challenger, but it was a fine machine, I had fun making it my own. Pros- great bike, lots of upgrades, great warranty. Cons-underpowered. I was sad to see it leave but at the end of the day, I bought my Challenger right so it’s nice to almost break even.
I like that gloss black choice esp. those Stain gloss valve covers (I just cant like or adjust to the Chromed or Gloss Black partly because the unfinished surface) Do you find alot of heat on the right leg? It looks it would be so close to the rear cylinder head
Just because Indian charges 1k for it doesn’t mean that it’s good and I guarantee u they paid way less from manufacturer but up charge the customer. Remember auto builders use cheaper parts that’s how they make profit…..
@okckingpingarage1589 maybe that's an age thing? When I was younger I loved the loud exhaust on my cars. But now at the ripe old age of 38 (lol) I can't stand the loud droning that is constantly there and cannot be escaped!
It’s loud, but I like it. It sounds mean and got louder after 1000 miles or so. When you get in it, it’s cool sounding. The tips oxidize quick. If I had it to do over again maybe some high temp clear? I’m actually really happy with these pipes. Welds are nice and easy install.
i had one posted but I left the movie running in the background and they busted me for copyright violation I will make one tonight and post. I love this thing, it is cool having that big screen to look at. I highly recommend the unit.
I have an android 10[[ in my yaris...Know i want something with volume knob...This looks to be better then the cheap android units?....could you include the radio am/fm player aswell...TX bud!@@okckingpingarage1589
First off the me preface this question with, the truck lives it’s life parked under a carport, so it doesn’t get a lot of sun exposure, well weather exposure. It’s awesome honestly, the paint is still like it was the day I brought it home.
@@24hrstolive27 I am going to do all the body work, fix the drivers door sag and repaint it again, I will use the other macco location as they do a better job accoring to locals... post a pic here when you get it back...
@@okckingpingarage1589 yea I switched the paint color from green to white.. 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser being painted. I don’t know if I can post pic here. I don’t think it lets me
Jeff, there are two buttons on the tank that are wired to bags that auto lock, but on the base model they just lock via a key. It’s not worth the cost to convert them to auto lock bags in my opinion.
What was that adapter on the heater hose that goes to the intake? You show it at 1:20. My plastic quick connect is brittle and completely toast, so I want to go to just normal hose and clamp like you did
I bought the adapter from jegs, the original I bought from autozone but the hose diameter wasn’t right, I’ll rewatch the video and send a link to part number. The plastic slip in hose from factory is junk.
One thing I've noticed with Maaco is their quality varies greatly per location. I know here in Oklahoma City one is known as the one to take it to OH I just noticed you are in Oklahoma City. I hear the one on the south side is where you want to go.
I went to Rockwell, they did ok, I’ve seen work on southside location and it seemed better quality and customer satisfaction was expressed by those I asked.
@@okckingpingarage1589 a friend of mine took his 92 OSB like yours there. Replaced hood, painted it back black 1800? In 2020. His friend specifically wanted it painted at that location and he was lives of town . There’s a RU-vid channel with the guy somewhere south of Oklahoma, but he always takes him to the 240 location. He’s on RU-vid. They’re usually pretty good jobs in and out of there. Back to my friends, friends truck. It wasn’t perfect but it looked great for the money that was spent .
@@drdjh2003 I have a buddy that spent $10k on his trucks ground up restoration of just paint and body. It looks great but he’s never let me ride in it since he got it done, lol. But my blue truck looks a ton better than it did. Considering south side location painting the vette.
I love these levers they are much thicker than factory and flat. I got the like new on Amazon for like $27, but they run $99 or so. My buddies are jealous lol
You picked up some bargains. I've spent a small fortune it seems like but did pick my Corbin seat up free from a friend and got the Rinehart's slightly used on the cheap. I put the same saddlebag guards you did from Amazon, except mine are chrome as I have a 22 limited. I do like the red grips on yours bike!
Thank you! The levers were the best deal I have installed, the red vans grips are the most comfy grips I’ve ever used. I’ve installed different things that I’ll video as soon as it’s done. The shark road slip on’s sound great IMO. Thanks for the like and comments.
1700 bucks for that? Your a clueless knucklehead. You can’t by the paint for a complete quality redo for what you paid! I’d tell you to pound sand ! Quality and Maaco go together like Joe Biden and world leader. 🤭
Nice bike. The difference in cost from the base model to the higher priced models isn't just the options like locking bags, tpms sensors, and GPS. Its also in the motor. You have the 111CI and the higher priced models have the 116CI. If you don't need or want those things.. the base model is a great option. I got a '22 Chieftain Dark Horse last summer. Its an Icon color. Love the bike so far. Anyway... congrats on the bike and ride safe.
Yes I left that out on the video after purchase. But at the end of the day I’m happy w my purchase, I’ve done a ton of changes to it since then w aftermarket parts and thanks for your feedback and ride safe.
Dustin my buddy and I rolled the fenders w a Wooden baseball and a 2# sledge on all 4 fenders. The back was lowered with the 2” drop shackles at oreillys. Thanks for asking!
I have upgraded the intake and exhaust. I’m going to install KST 6” bars when it’s warmer. The only item I would want is the locking bags. No use for the navigation, heated seat or grips.
