I followed every single step you did but I didn't get the runtime to work, can you please help me troubleshoot what the issue might be. I think there is something wrong in between the KEPWARE server and the Wonderware. I checked the Access name setting like application name and topic name everything is fine, it's really confusing!
@@AbdenassarJebariThanks for your question. Kindly uninstall the one you have currently download the newest version and install. Please try it and revert thanks.

Got past the "Install OpenPLC" on the Pi. Did the check to see if it was running. it was not. failed (Result: exit code) Start request repeated too quickly tried to manually run OpenPLC_v3/start_openplc.sh as sudo. Got error: File "webserver.py" lin 6, in <module> import serial.tools.list_ports Tried to Upgrade to Python 3 (seems to have failed still at 2.7.16) Commented out: import serial.tools.list_ports (just to see if it would finish). Got next error: File "webserver.py" ... No module named 'pymodbus' Tried installing pymodbus and anything associated via pip Still does not work. Advice?

Thanks for the compliment. I Haven't used kicad that much so can't speak to that. However with proteus it's pretty straight forward within 2hour you should be able to implement it using the auto routing functionality. The time consuming part is the circuit design planing which in my opinion has nothing to do with the PCB design software. If you have a clear layout plan you will spend less time implementing it in the PCB software. Hope this helps. Thank
Yes I guess it will work with any Siemens controller that uses PPI programmer. However I haven't try all. You can pls try with what you have and share your outcome. thanks for the question.
Wow! Thank you! Very cool tutorial, and you show the programming step by step in just couple of minutes! 🙂 Although you call it a simple project, it does quite some, and you have done a great job explaining how it is done and how it works. A small tip. If you select a component in the tollbar and then right click in the design area, there is a menu option to add multiple components at the same time ;-) .
