I will tell you that society in the South has gotten so bad that even those fast-food places they don't want to work at all. They give wrong change, don't care about how their lousy disposition is - which when I was young I busted my butt. I even worked two jobs so I could save for a car but had to hide my money from my nosy younger sister who had the audacity to steal from me from money to clothes. I tried to help her by giving her a copy of my high school diploma and still behaved badly at the job which took its toll by getting fired and it looked bad on me for recommending her. I NEVER did it again. People that are lazy won't work and refuse to listen to what you tell them to behave on the job too.
They make life miserable for people who purchased their own homes. This is not like the 60s or 70s, but it seems people are more brash and aggressive in taking over homes even rental properties too if they can do it - they will.
This has become past the point of ignorance. If you don't own or have a lease to a home you should be able to be taken to jail instantly because you are trespassing if you are there. You should have zero legal rights to be there. The owner should not have to go thru an eviction process if they never told told you that you could live there to begin with. Just because a structure or house is empty does not give you the right to just move into it whether you are homeless or not. The guy said that they had the water and power on so if they can afford that go get a damned apartment the legal way. People have just become so entitled it's almost beyond belief. Hell we've even got illegal aliens protesting in cities now because they're not getting enough free benefits to satisfy them when all they should be getting is a damned bus ride back to the boarder after serving a few days in jail.
The residents of Ybor City will regret their decision and actions one of these days. If they themselves become that which they dislike, they will have themselves, and themselves only, to blame.
