Thank you very much. Even though the tape measure my mother has is somewhat different, I was struggling with reassembling it until you mentioned the other spring going into the slot. You helped prevent any future stress or a sleepless night, thank you.
Clearly explained the very minuet details and where the mistakes will happen .Like the spring end point should be in the slit, direction of the tape and spring… well done
I opened it before watching, it opens very energetically....I lost the little spring, but it still kind of works (just take the top off and it winds back up, then put the top back on) So thank you very much.
My metal warped the wrong way, so I feel like as helpful as this video is for me it was a highly unsuccessful and frustrating endeavor. Thanks anyways.
Herzlichen Dank! Mein Enkel wollte das Innere des Maßbandes erforschen und brachte mir die Einzelteile. Dank der hervorragenden Anleitung hat Oma es repariert. Gruß aus Deutschland
My tape measure is not open its just not getting inside if i use the button. I tried to open it but it didn’t work. Any help on how to open these things up? Please!?
I'm not sure how you tried to open it, so I can't really weigh in. I pried mine open with a tiny screwdriver. If yours is glued shut, you'll have to either carefully pry it open to break that bond without cracking the casing, or perhaps try to cut through that glue with a hobby knife and some dexterity.
If you read the video description, I describe that mine just needed to be pried open and some others are glued, so you need to pry it open carefully, or find another way. Depends on what version you have.
If you look in the video description, there are several ways to take it apart depending on your model. Mine was simply pried apart, while others have their lid glued on, so they have to be more careful with prying.
Your session wasn't polished but it was quite authentic. Bravo for that. Here's my opinion. Beliefs are assumed truths that we must have in order to make everyday decisions. They're assumed because we can't prove it. For example, I assume as true, i.e. believe, that I will be alive tomorrow and so that belief allows me to make doctor's appointment for tomorrow. I can't prove I will be alive tomorrow but if I want to live the life I want to live, I must assume it. Our unconscious mind develops beliefs that support our goals. If you want to live your life without judgment, you're not going to develop any belief in God, totally regardless of evidence. So we can know someone's true beliefs only by the decisions they make. If a self-identified Christian doesn't pray, read the Bible or go to church, I would suspect there is no belief in God.
I appreciate the feedback. Turns out I had a lot more internet issues than I thought. It went for an hour but apparently only 20ish minutes were made available? Something I have to investigate. As far as assume, I have a hard time using that word in my life. As much as I can, I hope beliefs grounded in reliable evidence. "Assume" to me means prescription based on broad brush stereotypes, which I try to avoid. I believe I'll be alive tomorrow because I live a healthy lifestyle with a dose of caution; that's not ignoring the fact that I might have an accident to takes my life at any moment. We have mountains of evidence that defensive driving, healthy diet, exercise, etc. contributes to a long life, and freak accidents are rare though not impossible. I don't know what your difference is between using the terms belief and true belief. Do you mean genuine versus fake? In my typical circles, using "true" often denotes not using people as honest interlocutors, so I want to clarify.
Mine literally broke as soon as I bought it and I was desperate trying to fix it till I found this video it was my last hope and thank god this video fixed it better than its original state thank you so much for the useful content and clear instructions ❤❤
