Wow what a race had a blast and found some pace all to be killed on the last lap out of P2. I will get my perspective up soon. Funny you thought it was Kane off-the-road Karma and then noooo! Still can't believe he killed all three of us.. I felt like I was in a public lobby! lol
@@AdamWebb1982 Yea I saw in the replay later. I've had that happen before as well where the car gets "fixed" but the front wing just falls off as you exit the pits.
The 0mm rear arb has just enough lift off oversteer in the rain to feel perfect for me. I basically ran a dry setup with just the rear bar change. Probably my favorite car to run in the rain
Thanks for watching! When I started iRacing I did ~2 seasons of the FV (the FF wasn't out yet) and 2-3 seasons of the F4 which helped me get the basics of how to drive and setting a car up. After I jumped into the W13 and now the INDYCAR I try to learn as much as possible from the people who actually know what they are doing lol. For the INDYCAR I would check out the track and car guides on TeamI5G's channel as well as the very detailed videos on Adam Blocker's channel. I still have very basic gear that i've been meaning to upgrade. Single screen 49" TV, Fanatec ClubSport V3 Pedals, and Fanatec CSL Elite wheebase with a formula rim.
Good job avoiding that T3, I gambled on low as I didn't know if Niko's impact would push the cars higher. Completely intentional overtake! A shame about the pit exit as would have been a fight to the finish looking at pace.
@@Ghost------ Was good avoidance from you too! I was surprised when you were in front on the exit of the corner lol. Yea super disappointed with that mistake. I finally had similar pace for once so it would have been a fun battle.
Battle of 5th-8th that race was as exciting as yalls battle up front. Thought I would hate this track but really ended up enjoying it. Hoping to do another race or two here this week.
So what happened to me is I ran out wide on turn 1 to ensure no collisions with anyone underneath since there was a massive train. As I got back in line, I ran over the front of the yellow curb on the right, and apparently the front edge of that curb isn't as flat as it looks and it just freaking launched me to the left wall. It would unironically have been safer to straddle the curb and keep my right tires in the grass, that's how bad it is. I did a perfect 360 off the wall and managed to drive on, but with no front end I was about five seconds off the pace and couldn't get any speed on the oval, so I was a lost cause until someone caught me and I was able to get behind him and just draft him to the end of the race without losing any more positions. Unfortunate to get ejected out of the front pack like that, but lesson learned.
Racecraft wise I should not have fought to get around you with my front end damage. I didn't realize how much the front end damage was slowing me down. I should have zipped right by in thunder valley but that nose of mine was a parachute 🙀 good job on P3! Once I pitted and repaired my Always Radiant Maxi Pad's SCCA SRF was a rocket
Friday SOF race? What does that mean? I'm just a 2100 shitter, what is the grand prix tour series? Is it just a coincidence that it was on hungaroring when the F1 race was there this weekend? is this the w13? edit: it's cool as hell though. That looked so fun. I have no idea where you people find all the speed. Like porsche cup was at hungaroring and I did like 1:50 every lap with like 1:49.2 being my best - yet I saw guys who do 148.5 every lap and occasionally get like a 147. Yet it feels like I'm on the absolute edge of losing the car at every turn. If I had been in this race I'd probably be doing like 1:22's
@@hansolo631 This is the broadcasted timeslot for the official series that follows the F1 schedule and does full length races. It's the Friday 1900 GMT session and usually has the highest SOF.
