This is not the earliest footage I have ever seen. Back in the 80's there was a late night show called night flight that discussed a lot about rock bands from members to venues played and inspirations for songs and mostly classic footage of early performances of many different bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath (even some Rare Earth footage). They showed a clip of Debbie Harry from the early/mid 60's of a performance she did in Europe. In that footage she was wearing a black beret, a black mini skirt and black boots and looked incredible. I cannot remember the song but, needless to say, her singing as always was excellent.
I played there one time for cmj. We parked right in front and quest love walked by with his friends. Good times. I think the AC was broken and it was hot as balls so no one was drinking only drinking water and not tipping the bartender girls lol 😆 so they made an announcement and the girls were pointing people out for not tipping. This was 2005 I wanna say
A genius in the making. Little did she, or her band know at the time that she and her band would change and set the standard for what music would become in the late 70's and 80's and beyond. Deborah and her band Blondie were such an icon.
