ezhel uses turkish-english-german-ottoman turkish words and ankara slangs in his songs. he even distorts some turkish words by his unique ways. he also uses turkish idioms very often. so his lyrics are too hard to translate any other languages. and his song writing style is emotional outbursts and improvisations rather than neat, sequential narratives. so when you listen you don’t listen a storyline most of the time, you listen to the intertwined words, beats and the main idea of what he wants to tell. i think this way he managed to be catchy and deep at the same time.
