The School of Music at Southern Miss is dedicated to its longstanding international reputation for excellence. We provide musical and educational opportunities for professional and artistic growth. You will work with distinguished faculty who perform on world-class stages and teach at international festivals. You will also perform in ensembles such as the Southern Chorale, the USM Symphony Orchestra, the USM Wind Ensemble, the USM Opera and Musical Theatre, and the USM Jazz Band. Good god what a fantastic production. This director REALLY knows what Sondheim was going for with this show. Amazing. Perfect casting. Perfect singers. Perfect. Bravo.
Wow, the whole production was fantastic! I’ve seen poto about a dozen times in 7 different cities including Toronto, San Francisco, Ottawa, New York and London and this ranks up there. Bravo!👏
I don't think Black Phantom would hide in the sewer under the opera house, wearing a mask to cover his scarred face. He'd just hang out in the open, all confidant, not giving an eff what people think about his face. He'd go right up to Christine and steal her away from Raoul with his charms, none of this hiding in the shadows nonsense.
What they chose to do to make it their own was amazing! Any mistakes in this is made up for with that KISS! Amazing choices from the actors. Amazing ending.
This production is absolutely spectacular. But there is a very special place in my heart for the wind up monkey costume in the Masquerade scene. Amazing!
Wow! The education and teaching in our school is so exciting! I saw the email you sent me and came to see our video. I applied for the Doctor of Vocal Performance in our school this year. I saw the teacher's introduction of this video, which made me feel very excited. I'm looking forward to joining our big family!
This was an amazing production by a university or college!!! This was most definitely a team effort, and everyone should be proud!!! (Yes. I know I’m like 6 years late or something, but still…ENCHANTING!!!)
