I'm Jimmy, planespotting and aviation enthusiast!!
I have always been a huge fan of airplanes and aviation in general. Plane spotting is by far my favourite pass time. The dream would be to create aviation content full time. Hopefully I'll get there some day. I love travelling and of course my favourite part of the journey is always the flying. My favourite aircraft are the 777, 757, 787, A380, and A350.
Dublin is my local airport where I record most of my content. My goal is to create high quality planespotting videos from my local airport Dublin, and more airports across Europe and beyond. I hope to record some flight trips/reports along the way too!
Check out some of my videos below, if you enjoy the content please feel free to subscribe to the channel to keep up to date with future content. Thanks!!
I love the Triple 7❤❤💕🩷✈️ the last great aircraft buult by "old school" Boeing when they built state of the art, high quality, SAFE and beautiful jets.
@jocelynharris-fx8ho I definitely agree. The 777 is the last great plane to come from Boeing. Really is a fantastic aircraft that helped transform long haul air travel. Will be interesting to see if the 777x can live up to 777 legacy.
Duh the A350 is more advanced, it was built in the 2000s vs the 90s for the B777. Still, the B777 has been an unmitigated success sales wise and has an impeccable safety record. Time will tell if the A350 can match that.
The 777 is currently the biggest plane still being built. That makes it interesting for long haul route with a lot of passenger (like transatlantic). The A350 is more fuel efficient and quietter and more interesting for use less busy routes and on airports with restrictions on noise.
@AlbertZonneveld I think that's one of the main advantages the 777x will have going forward. It's larger size will suit airlines like Emirates who need that extra capacity.
The A350 is the more advanced aircraft. With less power but much better aerodynamics it needs 5 seconds less than the 777 from full throttle until rotation + less fuel consumption + longer range + quieter cabin => A350 is superior to 777!
To me both aircrafts are beautiful in their own way. Ive been on A350-1000 but still awaiting B777-300ER. Hopefully soon. On the other hand not been on A350-900 yet but on B777 200ER
@@PlaneSpotterJimmy Excellent. Trust me you will love it. Flew on Virgin to JFK last year and return to UK from Orlando. Highly recommend it. September I can't wait to try A330 900 NEO
@rajnirvan3336 the Virgin A350s are stunning. Got some great close ups of them at Manchester Airport. I would also like to try the A330neo, unfortunately no airlines operate them from Dublin
@rajnirvan3336 Delta might schedule A330neos to Dublin once they start to retire their 767s. As of now Delta is the only airline that I see flying the A350-900 to Dublin. Qatar Airways might send one on occasion I think but they usually use the Dreamliners for the Dublin route
@@KahanuErmeyas-Tulu It's certification started ages ago. Considering boeing's ongoing fiasco, come talk to me after It is certified. Don't celebrate early.
@Xx5sonoxX I assume you're talking about the A350. If so, I definitely agree it's super smooth. I flew the A350 for the first time this year to Mauritius and I loved it. My outbound flight was in economy and return was in business class so I got a feel for both and it was great. The cabin in the A350 is very quiet too, not far off the A380.
LOL !! The new boing bullshit ???? On 2600 737 the oxygen masks must be checked...Only 2600 !!!... The mega loose the big shame!! boing boing is a real team of monkeys who should make roller skates instead ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YLdJjFCb7DQ.html&ab_channel=KREM2News...
All these who support Boeing and praise about how good their airplanes are should tell the same to the Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines families their fucking garbage of a plane killed. Its bind blowing to me how some people can still support them after having killed so many people including their whistleblowers lol
The old outdated 777/200 which consume a lot are already replaced by the companies with the much more economical 350.. Airbus has sold 300 in 2023 and 1300 since its beginnings... This is normal the plane is made of carbon and it is little fuel-hungry, practical for maintenance and very safe as we saw during the JAL accident in Japan because there were no casualties on board, the 350 is by far the best wide body even if it annoys all the fans hysterics of the Boing criminal enterprise.. And when the time comes to replace the 777/300 it will be the same...The 350 1000 will take its place...The 350 also competes with the 787 which will soon be outdated with its already old engines and boing sold it...boing sells the 787 at a loss to try to counter 330 neo or 350 ...The 777X is also outdated before starting to fly and being certified...Because it is expensive and heavy and will consume more than expected by the companies will quickly realize it is an aluminum plane apart from the wings...Airbus has already got its hands on 65% of the medium haul market and it is on the way to do the same with the wide body market. ..Condolences boing and hysterical fans you leave for lot of years of tears
The 350 doesn't compete with the 787 lol. The 787 was made to replace the 767 and compete with the A330NEO. You have no idea what you're talking about.
@@guillaumedupont7565 Airbus fanboys are newbies. Did you hear about the door on the brand new A350 from LAX to HTR where door wouldn’t open for 2 hours? Lucky there was no fire. Just shows how news is distributed
@@CaptainStandiford I know very well what I'm talking about, poor little brain, I said that the 350 ALSO competes with the 787 in addition to the 777...And in any case Airbus doesn't care about the loss-making 787, this ruinous program will never be amortized, it's a financial pit...boing sells a lot of them but for nothing unlike the 350 or 330 which have been beneficiary for a long time and which bring in a lot of money ...LOL! A good day little brain
@@jlmarc01 The mountain that gives birth to a mouse!! You are grotesque trying to hype up a minor problem compared to the mountains of problems that boing accumulates like the door that blew off in flight on the Alaska flight or the two crashes that killed 3456 people or so many other things that put boing on the map. straw...Today the FAA declares that 2600 737s must be inspected because of problems with oxygen masks lol what a shame !!....Good luck because you have work to do
Future of widebody belongs to carbon planes ...Ease of maintenance, economy per passenger kilometer the 777X is already outdated expensive and will consume more than expected
No doubt composite planes are the way forward. I feel like the 777x really needed to enter service in 2020 like originally planned. Like you said, it may be outdated by the time it starts flying passengers. If Airbus release an A350 Neo in the next few years, it will be a serious competitor to the 777x.
