Those handles will work for a bit but the vibration will eventually break that backpack blower. Did it on mine. Best way is to get one where it sits on, not hangs. This was my experience . Good information video.
I've had this mower since early 2020 and I have had zero issues. Still on original battery. The only thing I've done is basic maintenance, a mulching blade set and rear tires with beefier treads. I also use it as a snow plow in the winter.
Ive watched your other videos , i also had to start with a budget Cub ZT1 50", And i dont like the cut. AT ALL, but 2200 for a Like new one , from a half a mill. House with only 70 hours on it. But i have to either find a way to Get a better cut./ better blades, or Somehow modify the deck, but not happy with the cut Considering, it has the Strong Kawi engine on it. So im not sure how to get a better cut , other than selling it , and buying a 10K Mower , i was thinking Either Xmark or Scag, but undecided. , like you its small, only 10 yards For now. , but , i have a OCD so bad for Crappy cuts. It drives me crazy, if you have any advice id appreciate that, and you bid that job perfect , 200 for forst cut. And 60 a week, / 240 a month, thats a good income on 1 yard , and Every week, so itll be easier as you go, and i like your New mowers cut , it looks really nice 👌👍👍 , thanks , and post mors if you can, i like to learn as i go from watching videos like this , and equipment upgrades !! Ty buddy ! 🍻
All you had to do for that passenger side one is pull the tube up to the front rail of the trailer and bungee or rope it. Still quick and easy, and no danger of running it over with the mower. How did the racks last, and how did the blowers hold up hanging on them? I just picked up a couple from Amazon warehouse for 40 bucks each. After all these years, I figured I'd make room in my truck, and life a little easier by getting into the blower rack game.
Hey I have the 2nd generation craftsman 5hp chipper vac it’s an excellent machine. Also has the branch chipper on side. I only use it for leaves. I have all attachments which are hard to come by. I think it does better than this machine and its slightly smaller. I guy actually makes heavy duty bags for my unit. I’m looking at a used one Billy Goat
Just picked up one of these with the later version SP with190cc briggs motor with 3 extra bags and the hose attachment for a couple hundred bucks. The prices of these used machines are insane all over the place. FB and offer up is a good start.
Totally useless on wet leaf’s and underpowered. If leaves are dry it’s ok I stopped using mine. The pipe can easily become blocked. Really only for garden with dry leaves. Don’t waste your cash.
I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ru-vid.comUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
Yep they are not included. Just received mine last week and ordered the hour meter from Tractor Supply. Was an extra $40 but I only paid $3300 for the new ZT1 50"
@@leechburglightsI have the 42 inch I paid $3,600 I’ll have to go look at tractor supply for the hour meter I would like to have that so I can keep track of the hours.
Great video! The honesty is much appreciated. For a home unit, I'd also probably get this. For my business, I'm getting a Wright because they are built like tanks and are small enough to fit in any backyard which is really nice.
Dude lol. It’s not made for doing mud trails. Even though if you did another pass it would clean that trail up. Also the hose isn’t for sucking up a huge pile of leaves even tho it was doing fine. It’s made for doing in gardens and areas the machine can’t fit like around A/c u it’s and close to trees and gardens by sides of sheds. You’re putting that thing thru the ultimate test and it’s actually working good. Not many will use it for this purpose. A huge street sweeper couldn’t even go down that trail and do better. This review is the opposite of what this machine does. It’s made for a yard and gardens and sidewalks and it’s awesome. And it did well here. Think of it like a shop vac. Theryre great at doing what they’re made for -sucking up saw dust and nails, debris and stuff off of construction site floors and for sucking up water but it’s not made for sucking all the water out of a pool or for sucking up a pile of 2x4s or a pile of roof shingles, lol.
Why did CC change the hydrostatics on Ultima ZT2’s from Hydro Gear ZT2800 to Tuff Torq TZ350? Isn’t that a downgrade? , and if so, why hasn’t the price reflected the downgrade?
Add a small piece of 6”pvc tubing with a flat stock of your choice toon the right side of your blower rack. Using one bolt will let your wand holder pivot up and down So you can support your blower hose off your trailer floor.
I would have thought it mulched better. Maybe if you mowed over with a mulching mower first then run the billygoat. I don’t know, seems like a lot of effort. A walk behind leaf blower would be a better purchase. My opinion. Thanks for making the video though!
Just watch the fuel lines in cold temps. The fuel return line on my brand new 770 broke at -18C causing a leak onto my clothes. It's under warranty and the dealer will install new Tygon tubing to keep this from happening again.
I'm thinking to buy leaf blower. But I'm using all around and mainly in the winter time for the snow here in Alberta Canada. You think this is best and can you give me the pros and cons for this unit. Thank you in advance!
Hi from Calgary. I just bought an Echo 770 and love it for fresh snow. Only issue is that the return fuel line that came with it broke in cold (-18C) weather causing fuel/oil to leak down my lower back and into my clothes. The unit has a 5 year residential warranty so I took it back to the shop and they are going to replace the factory lines with Tygon fuel lines. I researched this on the Echo site and they don't recommend using a leaf blower in temps colder that -8C or something close to that. I'm told the new tubing will work much better. Otherwise, loving my 770.
@@Rick-tt6yq I don’t have problem so far. I’m using Wednesday November 30th, 3 times and once yesterday with the extreme weather in Red Deer, AB. Just check your unit before
@Rick-tt6yq hey there Im in YYC also. Can you tell me where to go to get that tubing installed please. I want to buy this 9010 blower or one more up from that 🙏🏽😇
Thats one thing about the Billy goat i use i can close the front flap to use the hose that just a little much to screw on a block off plate just to used the hose i run the Billy goat bg1002 self propelled pro series
Sounds like you've had an excellent dealer in your area. I may 5 smallish lawns just as a side hustle and use a honda hrx217 and cub cadet ltx1040 lawn tractor. Its held up ok with 268 hours on it. I'm hoping to upgrade to a newer one with the electric pto and a little more powerful engine, but I cant complain. For what it is its held up great.
