This channel is 80% farming related. follow me working alongside family and friends on a small family farm located in the lower peninsula of Michigan. Stick around for the other 20% which would be anything fun or interesting I found worth putting on film.
Older video now I know, but that is one clean looking old tractor. The 8X10 series wee one of the very best looking tractors Deere ever made and yours looks outstanding with those large metric tires. I'm in MI too.
Hi Anthony! Thanks for taking us along to see the wheat harvest, don't get to see wheat being harvested very often. Looks like your drone worked great! Hope all is good with you and your family, Hi to Austin!
Hi Anthony! Glad you finished your soybean planting, cool seeing all the equipment our working together. Hope you have a good growing season and great harvest! Thanks for the video!
Yeah still some guys trying to get planted up here even. Sounds like you're down south. We don't start harvesting wheat up here until the middle of July usually.
This year has been really wierd with the rain . Over by ludington it seems like 1-2 days of rain then 3or4 no rain just when you start seeing farmers in the field it rain again. Hopefully you can get everything in the ground soon. Thank you and your family for being farmers and helping feed the world.
Thanks for sharing. It's been about the same over here in the thumb. If you get tagged by the random scattered shower it really brings the buckets of water.
Thanks for recording and posting another great Michigan Farmer video. Glad you were able to get more planting done and hope you can finish soon! Stay safe and healthy!
Long rows in a big field. Looking good! How many acres in that field. It is hard to tell from the camera. What are the white stakes where the fence row was?
Hi Anthony! Great video, good to hear you got all your corn in the ground. If you haven't yet, hope you can get your beans planted, the weather forecast here sure doesn't look good for the next week, lots of rain. Welcome to the world of sandblasting, did you have fun? LOL. I've done my share of sandblasting, not a fun job, that sand gets everywhere, but sure gets rid of the rust! I love the way you buy sand and shovel it into the blaster tank. Thanks for the video, hope the family is doing well, stay safe and healthy!
Hi Anthony! Funny, I knew it had been a while and I was looking for a new video from you this morning and you came through with one a few hours later! Glad you were finally able to get some planting done. Thanks for trying for some drone shots, bummer about your SD card. Looks like we are going to get some rain tonight and tomorrow. Hope you were able to get a lot more planting done since this video. Thanks again for your videos, stay safe and healthy!
That's a good question. I don't want to say yes the fact it's right on the edge of a tree line and that probably impacts yield more than the power lines. I'd have to ask someone who has them in the middle of a field. But I'd hardly at all if any.
