Roids are obviously still very prevalent in sports today but we need to open it back up in baseball again!! The acceptance of them in the late 90’s early 00’s was amazing and good for the sport!
I love how pretty much all of these guys are so juiced up they have necks as big as tree trunks, but in walks skin-and-bones Darryl Strawberry with a 525 foot HR lol.
One thing i never understood, i know Jacobs Field extremely well. McGuire hit the scoreboard and his was longer then Thomes? Thomes went right next to the scoreboard and kept going out of the ballpark and landing on the street. Theres a discrepancy somewhere. One of those measurements is wrong. I would say Thomes was probably a lot farther due to the fact they know exactly how many feet it is to the scoreboard, but they could only guess at Thomes HR distance and they were way off.
Read many of these comments. The young guys playing today are a product of the new steroids and hgh generation. They get them indirectly from the meat, dairy, and poultry they eat growing up. Sooo
Borchard for the Sox? That’s crazy. I’m from Chicago and I’m obsessed with baseball. I’m more of a Cubs fan but I know pretty much everyone in the MLB and that’s shocking. What a strange dude to have the longest homer in Comisky/US cellular field history
