The UK has provided us with a lot of great opportunities which we will be forever grateful for but it is not home.
We are looking to move and settle back home in rural Zimbabwe. We would like to build our farmhouse and start our projects. We are planning to generate our own energy, have our own water system and produce our own food.
Bindura looks awesome from that vantage point. I'm planning to take my drone to Zim too when I next go. Did you guys have to do anything paperwork wise e.g. register the drone so you're allowed to fly it there?
Ive been following that guy and I've learnt this...1.He didn't research well about what he want to do,,2.Lack of proper planning he could have put borehole, Fencing, good structures..3 . There's nothing called helping the local with jobs this is lifetime investment you need to work with reputable contractors,..4.He potrayed himself as a big guy in town driving Discovery and people took all the money from him..5 . Starting big was the biggest mistake he made it was just pure risk,.. 6. running a business while you're not on the ground its a no no he needed to be hands on for at least two years before finding a manager... there's a lot that he did wrong
Congratulations for starting a podcast. It’s good to have a space to discuss topics such as this. These are topics that are very eye opening for those pioneering into these relocation. I see a vice versa topic on COS and perceived greener pastures. I think living in the economy is a great nugget for those relocating.
You guys finally moved to Zim really living your dream life. I am so inspired. I can't wait to finish building in SA and permanently leave London. You know ;I am not sure if I have seen you farming tilapia fish at your homestead. If you do please show us a vlog how you started and how you do it . I am planning to have a small fish pond to raise my own tilapia at home for consumption.
We have not yet relocated we are still in the diaspora however we intend to do so soon. As for the Tilapia farming it is not us we don’t have a project like that on the ground. We wish you all the best with your project though please come and let us know how you get on.

@@Mysterious811 thank you so much for choosing to be part of this community we are blessed. Where we live we have a thriving Ugandan community and it so happens one of my good friend (mai Zuruvi ) is from Uganda 🇺🇬. So you are very welcome here ❤️.
It takes time to establish a homestead for sure. We have plans to build a workshop too. Have you relocated or you are planning too ?. Which stage are you at ?.

I have 11 dogs in Zim and I miss them so much. 9 Mongrels and 2 little Maltese . They are adorable. They will never forget me after the first smell. They are loyal and well looked after❤
You’ve got a big fur family there 😅😂. The thing I love about dogs is they are always so happy and excited to see unlike our two teenagers these days 🤣🤣.
Thank you for your lovely words. Zuruvi and I are trying out different things like joint voiceover. It seems to have had a positive response which is good.
