Having done a Masters in Environmental Studies 20 years ago as an (already) mature student, focused on the environmental gaps in public education and the total lack of status in this entire area, I did not stumble on political discourse analysis until I had just finished. What I find most interesting this far is that you have laid no historical foundation for how societal norms evolved via families, groups of people, societies . . . . Civilizations, etc. ? There must have been strong reasons for societal norms to have been adopted. In challenging those you must give logical reasons MIXED with moral justifications for the changes being advocated for.
