“Assembled in USA”. Little marketing trick there. So it’s made by Civivi, correct? Looks like Civivi, acts like a Civivi, D2 steel like a Civivi… but “assembled in USA” so ppl think they’re getting a “made in USA” product. Tricky tricky. 😅
Thank you for your inquiry. No, our knives do not incorporate components from the supplier you mentioned. We do source parts from overseas suppliers as well as local shops. We claim to be 100% designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in the US. Our intention is not to mislead. This hybrid approach allows us to keep prices at reasonable levels while providing a high-quality knife.
Just got one. I like everything about it. Except....If i designed it, It would have textured powder coat or paint. Or knurling. The lines help some, but Should cover the whole thing. Function should come before astectics. Try grabbing it with a wet hand. It's like a bar of soap. Other than that I love it. You guys can use it on the next revision if you send me one. I just picked one of these up Thursday. I was really floored by the fit & finish & the smoothness of the bearings. It was an unexpected surprise. I don't have any issues with handling it's slim design & it absolutely disappears in your pocket. I do wish that it had a deep carry pocket clip. But sticks out of my pocket just enough to easily get it without it being too much. Also wish it had a better blade steel. But so far it has been great. This was just a complete out of nowhere purchase that turned out to be amazing.
