How Do Your Favorite Movies of the Past Hold Up In the Modern Age? We Revisit the Films of Our Youth and Answer the Question.. HOW GOOD WAS IT? Hosted by Scott🎙️Joe A.P.🎙️Jun
As someone who thinks John Carpenter is a horror god, I never liked this movie. He’s made some bad ones. He’s also made my 3 favorite horror movies of all time. You win some, you lose some.
To each thier own. I love Carpenter but didn't like The Thing or Prince of Darkness, which the former is dearly loved among most horror and Carpenter fans. No biggie. If we all liked the same things, what a boring world eh? Lol
You guys are completely off your compass on this one. Yeah Shawshank and Pulp Fiction were great. But that CGI shit was ground breaking. You guys sound like a bunch of dumb millennials with your reviews. Everyone gets in a bubble, and you guys are in your own.
Fair enough . Of course we are looking at everything through a lens of today. Thanks for sharing. But please believe no matter the nitpicking, forest gump is still one of my favorite movies lol
Went from talking stats to talking out of his butt real quick. How do you go from a movie overview to politics without being asked? No body cares about your opinion like that, lol.
Your contempt is awful and ignorant of both Star Trek and production techniques at the time. AND the directors of the first 2 movies didn't know Star Trek and didn't do anything with it. Nimoy gave an interview about the first film where he basically gave the same critiques. The 2nd film you apparently didn't even watch yes?
The enterprise is gorgeous, I dunno wjat these guys are talking about. Even in the original series, it might not be super detailed cause it was on 60s tv, but its still a great design.
Joe A.P. Snowballs are the best, lol. There’s a bakery here in NY called Empire that makes a modern fresh version you’ll have try it when come to town. None of y’all got funny bones or devil dogs 🤔 Great episode!!
While Beastmaster wasn’t the best movie it was a fun movie for the time. It definitely was better than most of that genre in the 80’s and had an original story that set it apart from the others.
The time travel aspect REALLY didn’t work for me. I thought it was goofy and stupid. The kid flying around in the other plane felt so unnecessary. The rest of the movie I thought was… fine. Great review
"goofy and stupid" You basically described the franchise. It's always been this way. You think digging just a few feets away from the nazis in ROTLA wasn't stupid ?
