please someone teach me ""everything (i knew was right) "" means. 40 years ago, japanese guitarist who fell in love this song tried to pick up lyrics(record was not with lyric sheet).and he thought that line as ""everything i knew was lie"".because of the line ""please don't tease me "" & the fact that japanese does not have r-sound. i thought ""everything"" means ""things she told me "". .now i know my dictation was wrong.but i don't understand what is""everything "" means.
