Are parts still available for these? I was going through some boxes in my dad's garage and came across my old tmaxx from about 15 years ago. I'd love to get it back out and running. Especially since I have kids of my own now.
Glad to see some relics of the past rc's are still as good as they were before, been in this hobby for 7 years and never seen such an old tmaxx in such great looking, and most of all, running condition. Wish there were more older rc's that haven't been scrapped down, get saved and given a new life.
@@DavidJones-xp2sh My uncle just gave me a 10 year old latrax Teton he used a lot back in late 2010, found the thing in his garage completely mangled and disassembled, told me I could have it if I fixed it, which he doubted I could. Fixed it and got it running, earlier that day they had a go kart that hadn't ran in 3 years, my uncle said have at it and try to fix it, my family members doubted I could fix it or even get it to crank over, got it to run a few seconds off of chainsaw gas we had. Blew my family's mind. So the little latrax Teton is running just as well as it did before, just fixed it the other day at my uncle's at a party to prove him wrong twice with the rc and the go kart 😂 best days of my life
whats up bro!! Glad to see you running the awesome REVO Rich and Loud! Motor seems very well tuned, just how I like it. Also awesome landing on that jump. I used to have this same exact REVO 2.5R when it first came out.. amazing RC for the time.
Yeah runs well I’ve put a pro .15 carb which gives it a lot more power. I may eventually upgrade to the 2.5 chassis and keep the .15 engine. Also I’ve got a 2.5r revo which will arrive to the channel soon.
i got a 2.5 nitro rustler when i slow down with the break it does a 180 before i even hit the break complete same as when im going fast hir the break it does a 180 too any thoughts to it? i put a new break pad in too......
I just got the tmaxx 2.5 from my uncle and when I start it, it runs fine but when I put a little throttle in it after driving it slow for a couple seconds for no reason it goes full throttle and doesn’t stop till it crashes can someone please help 😕
It certanely would but i wouldnt experiment to much beacause tires are expensive to buy so dont buy all the time wider tires, also if you dont ride trails its not worth buying tires, wide tires are really expensive
I am 5'9" and got myself the ML version and am very satisfied. I bought it two days ago. There are charts on the internet, have a look but I would suggest a size M.
Илья Эль other than the 820 and marlin 4 lol it has a big fork and good frame it can do the job, I’ve done some jumps on this off rocks while having a marlin 5
@@sdqsdq6274 well when I bought the bike they said you’ll never break that frame as it’s so strong. They even said if you do break it then they’ll replace it for free.
Julian Roche Depends what jumps, i mean sure you can jump on it but don’t expect the bike to withstand strenuous force, the components aren’t really for that, it’s mainly for light trails and xc
