But you want it so bad that bmw now don’t even complain about paying a high price for a luxury car that’s all go back to you salesman and blame it on him he didn’t tell it was high to maintain
so that device/sensor you pointed to.. i dont see any hose tied to that? so the device right next to it, has a hose, but you didnt point to that.. so what is it i need to do to check that same hose? follow the wire/harness from that egr sensor and the hose would be there? should i have a hose going to that sensor thing you pointed out at in vid? i looked all my hoses that i can get to reasonably and i dont see any breaks or compromised hoses. but once a week or so i keep getting the p0400 code. and the rpm needle hunts a little bit when going up hill. at idle though it is fine purrs like a kitten.. but going up hill the rpms are wonky and needle hunts a bit until the road levels off . not a lot of hunting, just a 2-300 rpm stretch
ok i stand corrected, pulling it off the brackety i now see that hose. but i am not seeing any break/breach of hose wall. so i will try new sensor and / or egr valve itself i guess
Is there a part # or something for the replacement vacuum hose? Same code as everyone else & it looks like there's a crack in the bottom of the original hose connected to the sensor in this video. Local auto parts store said I had to give them more specific information. Thanks for the great video
Thank you for sharing this video! My 2005 X5 had many of these issues. Took the alternator out and found that the power steering fluid had a leak and was shorting out the alternator causing the radio to not work, transmission fail safe, and 4x4 light on the dash. Appreciate you posting this video!
I have 2019 Mercedes sprinter high roof and locking on 75 limits can you unlock for me and Door has auto locking when I park can you unlock door and how much cost And where are you guys location
My ccv allowed oil into my manifold I imagine this is the issue I idle fine once started I can drive car in drive normal as it never exceeds 4k rpm while shifting soon as I get on it past 4k multiple misfire and they are all random I cleaned all oil and disavalves in manifold on my 328i and still no luck
Thank you for a helpful video. I am looking at a 2000 E320. I bought a 97 E320 with the M104 motor for $2800 with 200k on it. The previous owner loved the car and owned it for 13 years, but was quoted $2800 to replace the EGR, I found a nearly identical hose that ran from the EGR to the center portion with the Coil Packs. It was about $6. I replaced all the specialized connections, rubber hoses and white vacuum hoses for less than $50.
I know video is old. Just got my first bmw. Inheritance - p0303. Plug , coil , injector all new. Want to try this but what happens if you dont blos out the cylinder? I dont understand how shooting air down the tube is really gonna get sny out
Great video! I have an 04 330i with a misfire on #4 only. Compression test showed 185, 187, 190, 65(#4), 188, 190. New plugs, coils are fine. Also replaced the #4 injector, and it was DIRTY in the cylinder. I dont get any coolant in the oil or vice versa, and I dont notice exhaust in the coolant either. No white smoke. Just p0304 and lean code. Could this be my problem? Also, what is the best soak to use now? The AC Delco stuff you used isnt available anymore.
Thank God for you guys and this video..Had random misfire cylinder 3 that I couldn't figure out. After months of trying to figure it out I though I might have had a lazy lifter being that it only affected cylinder 3 at cold start would misfire and would have to reset the trouble code most days after initial starting. Would run ok after a couple minutes. THIS PROCESS FIXED MY PROBLEM !!!! NICE SMOOTH STARTS. THANK YOU SO MUCH..
Would you please help me find the fuse for the heater control valve fuse. I have to make sure the fuse is ok before I get a new valve. This is all due to no heat condition. Thank you.
Excuse me, I have a 2012 Benz C300 Recedes which is giving me codes that are P0174 and P0171, and the fault that I see is that when I drive the revolutions they fluctuate between 2 to 2.5k, which do you think could be bad? I hope you can help me, thank you
I have the same problem right now (Seat Toledo 2, 2002) and your video is a godsend to me. Also solution to this problem would be placing this computer a bit higher.
Got a 2006 Merc S430 with a misfire on cylinder 3 at right around 4k rpms. I changed plugs, wires, maf, air filter, fuel filter, coil packs and checked injectors for a clean spray pattern and im still misfiring 😖 Any recommendations appreciated.. Compression check? I switched coils and plugs around to make sure i didn't have a defective part as well. Just always cylinder 3 ☠
My 2012 vw tiguan wont engage/ move on any shift positions not even reverse i have 1 code only p0721 could this code prevent it from engaging ? I check the linkage cable visually and the lever moves when i shift but the car not moving please help .
I recently bought a 2003 X5 that is blowing the fuse as soon as the AC button is turned on. I REALLY hope it is as easy as disconnecting the aux water pump. Scared a shop will screw me if I took it to them.
I have a p0303 I've switched spark plugs.coils no change didn't do compression test yet but how would I pur the cleaner in side the hole you side 1 ounce
Just got an E430. Vacuum hoses where original to car so replaced as many as I could get to and inspected the rest. Some of the hoses were rotten and cracked.
Thanks for showing us this clever and easy fix. I'm going to get some of that cleaner. In 2005, I bought a 2001 525i that was using 1gt of oil in 1000 miles (at 70,000 miles ). And I was bummed. Well, two AutoRX treatments cleared it up and the oil consumption went to 1qt in 4500 miles. If you still have a running engine, you might try it. These engines suffered from BMW's first attempt at extended oil changes. The system was set for an oil service at 15,000 mile intervals which was way too long. When I changed the oil for the first time, the filter was full of sludge and black carbon chunks due to this crazy service interval. Anyway, I kept the car for 15 years and put another 100,000 miles on it. It was still running great when I sold it a couple of years ago. I miss it. The e39 was BMW's best 5'er.
I had these symptoms on my M54. I turned out to be a broken exhaust valve spring. The leak down test will hold the valve closed and test good. However the broken spring won't work well enough to make good compression.
