My only issue with 185 is the armrest thing on the side of the chair that's on the wall is stuck to the wall so you can't rest your elbow on it very well as its bit uncomfortable if you know what I mean
In sweden the train looks so heavy and it's even bigger (in person) and the whole sweden network track is electrified it almost never ends, all the cargo locmotives are electrifed without 1, in my city we don't have that much trains we only have like 5 trains coming in that station where I live.
The 803s have a battery instead of a diesel engine for non electrified routes, the 805 is also pretty much just an 802 and I actually don't know the difference between the two.
Was on 450. It was really quiet and drove really smooth and didn't shake. Compared to a 465 it is really quiet. Although the 465 is just a screeming banshee in my opninion

They when they were ordered first wanted to buy them as 4 cars but the DFT said nu uh due to platform length and power to weight ratio but nowerdays they more often then not run in 6 car formations
@@cam43002 I had my Leeds-liverpool lime st class 802 service cancelled and the replacement that came was a single 185. I had a 1st class ticket too so it was invalid for this train due to the seat basically not existing. Ever since I loathe them.
@@cam43002 no I know they do, I've been on it, it's just that the seats are awful. The shape is fine but it's like sitting on a rock. Also despite travelling for 2 hours I didn't have an opportunity for any catering service because there was no 1st class staff.
@@willridestrains But that’s the design isn’t it, that pantographs can be added at a later point ‘if’ they’re to be used elsewhere. Otherwise, they’re carting around extra weight that needs additional maintenance.
A few days ago when I was playing BR, someone said “they should add overcrowding to trains to make it more realistic!” And I said “make it more likely on CrossCountry trains”. 💀😭
