Video recorders are rapidly going out of use, with the advent of DVD's and downloads. I have an archive of Lincoln City matches going back to 1976 on VHS. As video recordings and machines are deteriorating, I thought it was important to get this archive to a digital format before its too late, and I'd better get it onto cloud(You Tube) just in case my house burns down.Which allows me to share this archive with you all. Some of the quality is poor but I'm sure you will all enjoy seeing some of my archive.
If you have a video tape containing valuable films to you it is imperative you get it transferred onto a digital medium ASAP, and make sure you use a trusted Video machine just in case it may damage your tape. Video machines do contain a rubber wheel(pinch roller) which when deteriorates over time could damage your video tapes.Old tapes are also known to clog the video heads.
I won't be showing more recent games to ensure LCFC does not lose out on any finances through their website.
