I did this for 30 years. I did all my repairs in the sun. He is what thins the resin. Or you can use a lighter briefly.😅 Repair as soon as possible after the chip.😂Gil

@georgemacdonald3087 of course. SRP is well known for separation, and if you don't it comes out like water. Easily identified when you've made the mistake once.
Do not try the hose replacement on the 2022 version. Ask me how I know! Currently looking for glue strong enough for my new bodged connectors. Would not recommend 😂
Hi mate not sure if you know this and I know it was 5 years ago now but that old boiler you’ve got looks as though it’s spilling, black marks at the top corners is an indication it’s not working properly and could be immediately dangerous.
Stuff you spray on your car at the very end of the whole process and (usually) buff off. Often increases gloss/hydrophobicity and removes any water spots.
Have just reproofed my 5 man tent with Fabsil before seeing your video. So the wrong way round! What I found, brushing the Fabsil on, is that in bright sunlight and very hot weather, it would not spread without putting too much on. It was a huge effort during which I have lost several kilos in weight.. Those parts of the tent which were in shade were easier and also I could see what I had done which was not the case in the sunshine bits. However, the tin does not appear to say don't do this in sunshine because, I suppose, that you need that for drying it. I have about 100ml left out of the one litre tin but would like to know what mist spray you used for the second coat. When I tried with my garden sprayer, it just gave out a dispersed spray of pure liquid.
This works . I changed the seat on my harley, and there were scuffs from the rubbing on the paint. I did exactly what u did and there completely gone ! Thank u very much

Yes this worksI just repaired the chipped windshield on my tractor trailer. July 11 2024 4:10 pm Thursday afternoon. It really works The only thing that was hard was me standing on the engine of my freightliner in the hot sun ; other than that the application process was easy and simple . It probably took 30 to 35 minutes. I know theres some negative reviews but I don’t see why RAIN X WINDSHIELD REPAIR KIT IT REALLY WORKS HECK AND THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME USING IT . I saved probably $700 dollars for a windshield change.
I'm already a twitchy bastard ,,,now I need timers for oil changes,,,,ughhh the timeline that can blowout would be stuffing about swapping filter out and new seal I'm gona be terrified turning the key 🤣 click click Grind Bang ,,catastrophic Engine failure
I may give this a try. I noticed a very small crack today in the windshield of my old truck. Even a little smaller than this one. I don't care if it looks perfect, just don't want the crack to expand.
@@DetailingandtheBeast thats T6 so that means the rear are also drum brakes?.. man.. i just went twice to the shop they say my brakes are fine and laready finished two cans of 500ml brake cleaners, but now i think my drum brakes are squeeling.. I cant say it the front(caliper) coz they just replaced them with new pads..
Great and valuable info. Methods 3 and 4 are often successful. Tip: If you're going to get involved in this, investing in a good valve replacement tool kit, such as the Laser 5540, will make things much easier. Holding and manipulating the valve is far superior, and you can push the valve far into the wheel and get good access to the hole without worrying about losing the valve inside the wheel. You also have the option of replacing the valve. Compressed air is great for cleaning the hole and dislodging problematic stuff. Silicone oil spray is also a great lubricant for this kind of work (but if you plan to use gasket sealant then don't use any lubricant).
Clearly you haven't seen many Ford Rangers. They all do it! Surface rust only though so it's easily treated with something like Lanoguard, but it's a yearly task to keep up with it. Mine is actually in good order compared to most. Its just not really acceptable that Ford can churn out such rubbish quality work and get away with it.
I have used Shine Armor productss for several years and found its durability low. I also noticed considerable ware spotting. For cleaning, the products work and for a quick shine, they work fine, just not apparently for a short time.
I sprayed rust bullet automotive under coat and I forgot to plastic wrap and tape off my truck before the first coat and it was windy out and thankfully i wrapped it and tried it before the next 4 coats but now my truck is covered with it and nothing takes it off! I used 0000 steel wool on the fender🙄 it got it off after a long while but not the paint it swirled and dull and the rest of the truck is still covered with the paint any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
