You mean you are copy pasting from PP into Ae? I would try to pre render that section instead, Would be easier to work with since you have time remapping etc.

Not working for me... "create track data" I get no Popup, and when I continue, the Null-Object is just out of my window somewhere after "apply export".
First you need to solve the popup thing, since this is where you are selecting the mask, If you are working with multiple monitors see if it maybe pops somewhere on them, otherwise maybe somewhere on the ui? Hope this helps
Im not too sure if it reads normal maps, i have yet to mess around with it. Maybe once you convert to the 3d format it reads with the textures in a different software, it would work. Otherwise you need to import a normal map somehow
hey man great tutorial, I have just 1 question. with the camera position/orientation movements I have to enter them manually, when I watch your video when you select the camera and move your curser to the layer your cursor changes to a mini camera and allows you to move position/orientation etc. I might be being stupid but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to do that, my cursor just stays as a clicker and docent allow me to change the perspective that way, if you could tell me how that would be amazing!
Im sorry for not including this, im just used to these things so sometimes i forget to mention, Basically once you select the camera, hold alt, Then you can control it with your mouse entirely , So right click is zoom in and out, if you click the scroll it moves in the x and y etc. Hope this helps!
bro, i have a problem: my null object does not follow the line when i change the direction of the saber in 3d space. the null object keeps following the flat saber. how to fix it??
Once you create a mask/line, make sure you copy that mask into the null position, just like i have done in the video, then if you change the line, you would need to copy it again. When i move in 3d space, i am using a camera, i am not moving the saber layer itself. Hope this helps!

My issue with saber is that when im trying to use it with key frames the saber just gets distorted and weird when i try to track it on a moving object.
If you are following my video and tracking with mocha, i believe you are using corner pin tracking data instead of transform. In 01:14 , double check you are switching it
