Winter time the fish are schooled up and in close no need to go to far out ,we go about 3 kms along the coast look for some good ground and burly up .. normaly the fish will follow the burly .. they often bite hard hour before the tide turns and also hour before sunset they fire up
Hey mate we were fishing in between the to island straight out from the ramp more towards the right side .. we just sounded around for the broken bottom mate Hope this helps
