YT oold me today (November 1 2023) on this 8 yr old video (4 August 2015) there was a problem. "YT editor may not have applied edits to videos b4 march 2020".... the end has disappeared from this video now, it was there b4. it was just a normal vid no added bit on or dodgy content. Sorry

Trying to dock at minimum speed is a big mistake. I know the original manual said to go slowly during docking, but that's terrible advice. When going so slowly, it gives the station time to rotate out of position between the time you can last see the docking port and when you actually enter it. I'm not saying to just go full speed toward the station. Go slowly until you have it lined up, then increase to maybe one quarter, or half speed, while keeping the docking port level.
TNK is quite nice and runs on very modest hardware but it's still just 1984 Elite, with posher visuals. Oolite, on the other hand, is begging for a 2.0 Multiplayer upgrade.. and I'd probably come off ED entirely if it had one ;) and omg :D use a little speed when you're docking, you won't get stuck in the slot xx
If you buy the cargo scoop you can scoop the Thargons, the little ships that the Thargoid releases and sell them as Alien Items - they're drones, they stop shooting once you've shop the big octagonal fkker ;) (check that, maybe not on this version)
GG, you both played very well, great shoot and scoot tactics, good communication and use of compass directions and navigation, playing split up like that is not easy, you gents did it well.
@@Bacardibatman I know what ya mean, with comms, up until last year i was apart of small casual Mill sim group for arma 3, since I've stop playing my comms getting rusty, its just a bit of brain fart as the pressure is mounting on the o`l speech centres of the brain hehehehe one of things that makes is easier is just practice, arma is great for that, one thing that helped us was learning this. D.R.D for reporting contacts, (direction , range, description) in that order, if you report contacts same way every time you speed up alot as it becomes muscle memory, Example, Contact quarter left, 100 meters, 1 target moving away/towards, blah blah. haha 6 months ago i could out contacts while under serious pressure all the while barking orders and operating radios, now i rusty and out practice, not so much. regardless it was great content, keep it up 🙂
to answer your question..."miss how"...you lead to much at that range, easy done, i do it myself a lot, at that close range aim from his nose that should be good for that range.
