Been a life long WoO fan, but really stood up and watched when Ford got back into the game .. Wish more guys would jump on the Ford train too. I don't mind Donny but there's more friendly folks in the pits
0:27 *OMG!* Look at that matching diagonal red/white/blue emblem on Donny's left tit. Identical to the emblem on the front of the wing. Do you know what it stands for? What it represents? *OHIO FOR KAMALA HARRIS* Plastered all over his cloths & car. Disgusting!
1:10 *OMG!* Look at that left front torsion arm. The tire has rubbed half-way through it. This comes from being all crossed up sideways in the corners. All out of shape. Driving for a superficial photo-op on a T-Shirt or lunch box.
Used to watch D.S. at devils bowl back in the day one of my favorite drivers along with Sammy Swindell I remember almost every time I saw karl kinser he was usually underneath with a tiny file taking a little bit off here and there because he figured out for every pound you took off you would gain like 4 more horsepower to me he was the smokey yunick of WoO
You didn't watch Donnie Schatz with Swindell or Karl Kinser. Nobody had heard of Schatz when Karl retired & Swindell was in semi retirement by the time Schatz was making his name & winning. Karl would have never had the fame he had if not for Steve driving. The biggest change in sprints was when Gambler added the diagonal down tubes from the top of the cage to the front end. This stiffened the chassis so much that minimal adjustments on the torsion bars made a difference in handling. I knew Chuck Merrill, founder & owner of Maxim Chassis(less than a mile from my old house in Spfld. IL), & have had beers & dinner with Steve Kinser, his wife & crew so I know a lillte about what I'm talking about.
no critical thinkers in the sport like karl was, they cant even get the front bumper lined up correctly to protect the front wing. experiment, try making it a little bigger. how many guys go to the rear because they tapped the wing because the bumper wasn't effective.
Didn’t know the bumper that protects the torsion bars was supposed to protect the wing which is a foot over top of the wing. How bout they build your style bumper for the top wing also!?!? Just STFU
There are some very smart individuals in the pits area, because of rules packages, the shock program has become the dominant point of interest on sprint cars.
@@robertpcrowther OMG! Cleanest? Go review what he did to Lynton Jeffries on the front stretch at Knoxville. Listen to commentator Brad Doty's voice when Schatz threw 2 of the most ridiculous slide jobs at Swindell @ the 2010 Knoxville Nationals. Schatz chooses to drive for the Sprint Car Owners equivalent of Charles Manson. And why is he running those Ford + Tony = Fony engines? Cause Chevy won't have anything to do with him.
@@raymond3803wow you sure have a big mouth, comparing Tony Stewart to Charles manson hmmm. The Lyndon Jeffery crash was an accident, Lyndon had a run on the outside, how was schatz supposed to see him up there. You should seriously STFU
Watched Dave, Dale, but even more of his dad Lou. Watched his dad at super dirt week in Syracuse New York run a big block modified and jump out and get in his sprint car and do it again ! Can’t even begin to count how many races I seen his dad run being from western Pa , Sharon speedway was only a 30 minute drive ! The GOOD OLD DAYS or should I say the GREAT OLD DAYS,
1981, I was a 17-year-old pit steward working for Greg Weld @ 1-70 Speedway (dirt) $40/night. Sammy was driving #1N for Lavern Nance. Marsh wheels had just introduced their fluorescent orange bead lock rings. I was looking at Sammy's when he walked up near me. I asked; What the orange ring was for? Sammy said: *_A repellant, keeps dogs from pissing on your wheels._* I believed him ...................... Prick!
I loved watching John when he was young ,,he was very hyper and loud talking I'm still loving his inthousiasum ,,I'm praying for his recovery and I am looking forward to seeing him race this year GOD BLESS YA JOHN N PEACE
I appreciate your kind words! Thanks for watching. Always cool to hear my videos are reaching you guys! Definitely want to interview more drivers in the series
