Met Mike at purple door in 2007 after tdwp played the hardcore stage and totally slayed, crowd called for an encore and they started playing the intro to a Linkin park song but transitioned it to "dogs grow beards all over" and that pit I was in went wild! bought a t shirt off him that he signed for me after the show, super cool dude and band, probably seen them 5 times after that show!
Bro fr showbiz is s tier I love every single song they did showbiz resistance and drones dirty I mean imagine saying simulation theory and 2nd law is better then those 3 that's wild
My list: S - IV, III A - Afterman (both), NWFT B - YOTBR, SSTB C - vaxis (both) D - colors? Honestly haven’t given it enough attention to even say..just didn’t grab me.
25:10 good take on NWFT. Hadn’t thought of it quite like that but I think you could be on to something.. I’d chalked it up to having a non-member playing drums in the absence of the drummer who was so vital to their classic Feel. Lacks the groove in that way. But also the production does feel almost squeaky clean, in an off putting way.

OMG you people who fancy yourself as critics are so friggen predictable. How boring would it be if every Weezer album tried to be Pinkerton!? Enjoy things for what they are and don’t knock them for what you think they should be. Black was a solid album. PDD was actually great. Raditude was fun and certainly nowhere near as bad as the wannabe critics all insist it is. Each album has its own uniquely weezer personality and each contains some incredible songs. I love that they exist. Stop being sheep. Oh and you’re completely wrong about OK Human. It was brilliant.
Era Vulgaris is probably my bottom choice. I like half, the other half I feel “eh” about. They really should have released with “The Fun Machine…” and the title track. I have really come around on Villains. When the band streamed the album relisten with the new artwork recently, I was dancing around my living room. I actually started listening to it more. Jesse Hughes says the next QOTSA album has been recorded. The rumors are it will be released this year. My ranking as of today: 1. …Like Clockwork 2. Self-titled 3. Songs for the Deaf 4. Rated R 5. Lullabies to Paralyze 6. Villains 7. Era Vulgaris
They're cool, I'm just starting to check their music out. For the interviewer, I would drop the sandwich and shark questions. Even with a wink and a nod, they're just wasting time and pointless questions.
The Resistance deserves to be way higher. In my opinion it’s even top tier. Exogenesis, Eurasia & I Belong To You are masterpieces. It shows that Muse can’t only do rock, but are also phenomenal with classical pieces.
Villains is just not good musically, definitely not QOTSA good either. Lullabies is the most underrated album of all time, I stg Tangled Up in Plaid has the most bad ass bass I’ve ever heard in my life, catchy asf. Deaf is great obviously, but Era Vulgaris is just something you gotta listen to a few times. I was critical of it for a bit but now it is definitely my top 3 QOTSA albums. Clockwork is very impressive and Rated R is creative, but dude the Villains album is straight ass, I would rather be tortured with St. Anger on a 17 hour loop than listen to any song on that cursed record. Try out Lullabies and Era Vulgaris again, they’re great they just got a bit of character to be familiar with.
