And this is the type of stuff ppl risk their lives to see? U can't even take this mess home and u can prolly drip water in a bad part of town that's full of sediment and make this 😂
12:34 if you look immediately to the left of the hole you can see a pile of old flattened dynamite sticks, if you drop a rope into the hole, it leads to a wall where they were blasting and the wall is loaded with dynamite with fuses sticking out but for some reason they didnt set off the charges. Be careful though the hole is very overhung and hard to get out of, and the floor down in the hole is a slope and smooth as ice if you step too far into the tunnel down there and leads to water that is 20 feet deep and would be very hard to get out of. The water tunnel you would fall into does lead back around to where yall climbed down the steel cable but couldnt drop down further but its a very long maze of passages and you have to duck under ceilings with 1 foot of airspace so you wouldnt want to swim it without an inflatable kayak
That little piece of wood that was stuck in the roof is called a tell, the miners would push them into cracks, when they came in each they would look at the tell, if it was still in the roof everything was ok, if it was on the floor it meant the roof was moving and was in imminent danger of collapse.
That looked like crazy fun, entering that incline shaft, part free fall part skid and hop. You must have been moving pretty fast at times. The rest of the mine looked old, rotten, and unreliable. Soft stone, multiple collapsed sections already, false floors. But, it's obvious you have skills, and you aim to stay unsafe for the briefest amounts of time possible while exploring. Keep having fun!
It drains out to bluebird springs cave at the bottom!! We have pushed it as far as any human can, the water drains into a hand size hole and it fills up
I wonder if there is some kinda light or camera filter that enhances the sparkle effect you guys talk about but it always looks like the rock is just wet. I’m sure you guys see it different in real time and the camera doesn’t do it justice.
Hate that it was cloudy. But at least you got to experience a total solar eclipse with great friends. Yall stay safe and have fun 💓 Ps. Soon willy soon... 😊💓
