Hi! I have a question to ask. Is SL2 overpiced; It costs double the money over a Dt11. What do you have to answer on that. Starting retail price in Greece for SL2 is 23000,00 euros. Is it woth such a huge amount of money to spend; Than you! Best wishes and luck to all athletes at Paris 2024 Olympic games.
It is hard to look at. Not pretty at all. It looks like a Beretta version of the Browning Cynergy with the way that forend is shaped. Sure hope that technology is worth while.
I think Johnny over at TGS Outdoors might actually have some footage of that from his tour of the Beretta factory. Can't recall now but they were definitely showing ballistics and pattern testing from different barrels in the factory test centre.
Just my 2 cents...... any mechanical mechanism that requires slamming the action shut to properly fit it, is not made to specification in the first place. The demand for custom firearms indicates they are truly custom (one of a kind) items. Manufacturing with 5 axis CNC machines indicates the opposite (or at least a more repeatable method). In a world that can manufacture steel to +/-.005mm (or less) every single day, in any form, shape or style, why would you pay so much for something that is clearly not "custom"? Materials? Heat treating? Workmanship? What are you paying for, if not, just the name or style you like.
