Thank you for sharing Santa Ana Condition for everybody on RU-vid. I think it goes without saying that Dām is my favorite in general when it comes to music, and I wish him well as always
DāM-FunK has stated recently that "Adolescent Funk II" is coming soon. Maybe once you've heard some of what's on that, you'll change your mind about this not being his music.
@@РоманГрачев-ф3ц seems like these were old myspace songs that were luckily saved, after the whole myspace migration shit it was deleted, this guy is doing us a huge favor here!!
Compare this to other Dām-FunK songs uploaded to RU-vid, such as: "Santa Ana Condition" "Easy" "Left Alone" or "The Crown" and see if you can find those on any other streaming service. The reason you can't is because this is an unreleased recording from the 1990s. And in case you didn't know, Dam has tons of unreleased material, not only from the 90s, but the 2000s and 2010s as well. There may come a time when Dam decides to release some of his older music, either through Bandcamp or his label Glydezone Recordings or something else entirely, but for now, this is the only place to listen to it. If you're curious about Dam's beginnings as an artist, there's also a collection that was released by Stones Throw called "Adolescent Funk" which includes music from even before this song was recorded.
@@MacungieSun Thanks for the reply. I actually didn't think you would. I love Dam-Funk's music and listen to it all the time on Pandora but I love this song but couldn't find it anywhere so this makes perfect sense.
It's indeed part of Dâm-Funk's early, unreleased material. He's got at least two other great unreleased tracks, that can only be found on youtube: " Mysterious Roadz' and 'A Beautiful Day'.
Bruh, thanks alot was looking for this song for a long time. Back when dam was not known to majority of people I downloaded this song of his myspace and then my stupid computer broke lmao. Cheers
The Soul Express Show Unfortunately, the same thing has happened to me recently. I might still have CDs that I burned during the Myspace days, but I’ve also moved twice since then, so they could be lost somewhere. I’m not too worried about it though, because Dam has shown interest in releasing some of his earlier material through Bandcamp and his label Glydezone. I’m able to keep a lot of the songs I had in my memory, it just kinda sucks I can’t actually listen to them now, or potentially share them on this channel. But, like the title of this one says: “Movin’ On”
real music. Love Dam Funk's lof-fi sound, simple yet powerful drums, synths, compositions, and overall underground garage feeling. Some of his tracks are gems to me.
This track has now been given an official release, as a part of the "Private Life" LP on Music From Memory: www.musicfrommemory.com/release/6304/garrett/private-life-i
