Hi, I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I don't have a specific backing track in this song, just some additional recorded sound effects. For example, the clinking of a dropped chain, the sound of a revolver's cylinder spinning mixed an octave lower, an imitation of snake hissing with a shaker, some harmonic overtones, and so on, all recorded and edited with a DAW program.
Thanks! This first video was originally made for Halloween just for fun, but I liked the concept so much that I started creating a series of dark, western-themed music tracks since then. For this first video, if I remember correctly, I got the background image from some free website, but I can't recall exactly where. Then I applied color correction in Shotcut, both to the image and the video footage, added a radial gradient effect, fast noise effect, opacity, etc., and generally tried to adjust the colors to make the image and video match as well as possible. For the other three newer videos in this series, I used an online AI image generator for the background images and made some adjustments (for example, in two cases, the horse originally had five legs, so I had to remove one with GIMP 🤠), and I hid 'easter eggs' in a few of the newer videos and added some unique effects .😉
Thanks! I'm glad you like it. 😎I definitely plan to create more songs and videos like this, but my days have been a bit hectic recently (my son was born), so please be patient! 🤠In the meantime, you can find 3 other songs with a similar vibe in my playlist.🎸ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r6YcdftUPPo.html
Awesome to hear that! I hope it will inspire you! 😎Unfortunately, there are relatively few books and short stories on the topic, even though it's a very atmospheric theme.
Many of my songs contain elements from various genres, but generally, similar-sounding tracks are classified as Dark Western, Dark Country, Dark Blues, Gothic Western, Weird Western, or, if I use more distortion on the guitar, they are sometimes called Psychedelic Southern Rock. Additionally, I sometimes incorporate exotic guitar scales, such as the Persian scale, Aeolian scale, Dorian scale, etc., and unusual reverbs, delays, and other sounds and effects to achieve a more psychedelic, abstract, and mystical sound🎸
You really paint a picture with your guitar. This really evokes that feeling of menace and the nature closing around you, like a hangmans noose. The ending sounds airy and hopeful though.
Life has been quite busy lately because my baby boy was born a few days ago. When things settle down a bit, I might set up a Spotify account, and then I'll also upload my Dark Western music track series there.😎
Love the dark country horror theme man, very unique. Have you ever played Hunt: Showdown? I think its vibe fits very well with this kind of music that you make. Cheers!
I used to play it before. I really liked its atmosphere. It would have been great if they had made awesome story-oriented single-player campaign with its game engine but nevertheless I also really enjoyed its multiplayer game mode a lot.
I've finally found your channel! The atmosphere, those melodies are just special. You have a unique, your own sound, that's great! May I use your music as a background for my audiobooks? That would be really nice!
I'm glad you enjoy the sounds of my songs. Unfortunately, I don't understand your audiobooks, but I like their mood/atmosphere, and your strong characteristic voice fits them very well. 👍 You can freely use my songs in your videos, just credit me as the composer in your video descriptions. However, if you intend to use your videos commercially, please get in touch with me again, if they feature my songs.
