Must be a lot thinner than the ones that I tried. They were so thick I couldn’t get my foot in my shoe. Best thing is just to wear some Gore-Tex boots if you expect nasty and cold weather.
I hate the downhill rule. It's so backwards. I follow it, but i hate it every time. The downhill ones are working against gravity. It's so much harder to stop. The uphill generally doesn't mind the brief stop. I don't know who started this rule, but I'll hate it until the day i die.
*here are things we over prepared ourselves with* Back when i ised to hike for a night out itd be a small tent, 3 days of food, 3 days of water because you never know who or what youll be sharing with. So basically you stopped eating good food because pots weigh oz. ? I don't care about weight because its a monster that becomes all encompassing. Meaning as soon as you start chasing the ultra light everything becomes do i need this. Instead of enjoyment everything becomes i don't need the weight. This videos are so ridiculous, but whatever you need to justify. Lol
