Mpimpi gets ball passed to him which travelled at the speed of the pass to him and and at the same time was also going forward at the speed it was carried before it was past. Mapimpi had to speed up to catch up to it! He was level at the time of the pass so I cant see this makes it a forward pass as it was already going forward when it left the hands and travelled diagonally across to him!
That whales tackle on the SA player was a penalty. He had (1) a tackle to his leg followed by a shoulder to his face. It deserved a yellow or red card to. If mpipis jump catch where him being tackled in the air gets him a yellow card for a raised foot whilst being tackled in the air resulted in a yellow card for the SA player. Also that ball across the line from the rear camera was clearly grounded across the line. (The whales held up theory plus there theatrical post act play of an injury to gain refs attention deserved an Oscar. This ref was completely bias. I agree that the one pass/granted more perhaps were slightly forward. Not that wales had the skill or cover to stop it with 2 extra players. Face it they were lucky to be beaten by such a small margin. And I hate both SA and it’s rugby.
We've got to make the game scrappy? How about good rugby and winning? No wonder Wales lost all of their games in the 6N Championship... poor! The standard of refereeing in this match was appalling - so inconsistent and with all the technology on hand. What the hell were the linesmen doing when the passes were clearly forward???
What makes it worse, as an Australian rusted on Rugby supporter is even Wales are about to come down and demolish us (no disrespect to Wales as Australia and Wales were both once great Rugby nations in times gone by). Our new coach has picked a new Wallabies team and I hardly recognise any name in the starting 15. 😪

The ref's , commentators, video officials are all paid too lie . The forward passed are not even called by these cowardly commentators . It's a very very dangerous position we are in . Tv in Ireland is so bad on reporting of Rugby . rte have a programme that a dog wouldn't go on . The host of the show even made a former Irish Rugby player back up his lie about Mr Am coming on and changing the game . Mr Am was injured for the 2023World cup . The commentators are really terrible . They could not tell the difference between the two South African hooker's and one of them was of the pitch with a great big bandage on his head. They answer' too no one .

The officials got the LIME LIGHT PRICE, stop this BS, we are getting fed up. The laws have to change concerning the ref, if he is messing up, replace him. The players needs to act professionally but the ref is aloud to be a nothing.

South Africa has always been a very physical side and the TMO has always been a negative impact on their natural game. So with that in mind the TMO favors less physical sides. Also another point, athletes that grow up in a sunny fresh air climate with great nutrition and great genes will perform better than a shorter opposition from a worse climate. Then what makes SA so great is that we have a very small pool of players to draw from and far less resources for example than NZ has, what you think?
Agreed... poor decision but the subjectivity introduced by "hands going backwards " is ridiculous... Almost as ridiculous as not enforcing skew scrum ...
