Thanks. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve landed on 6 area lakes so it’s possible I unknowing flew over an underwater drone. Do you have pictures you would care to share?
Have you ever landed in Canyon Lake north of San Antonio? I fly out of Bulverde, and I want a Searey. While the Army Corps says they allow seaplanes to land there I've never seen someone do it.
I and others with me fly to Canyon Lake several times of year. Great lake with no specific seaplane restrictions. We flew Belton yesterday and it has some restrictions. After flying around those restrictions, they make sense. There is still 95% of the lake open to seaplanes and it is now my favorite Texas lake after Lakes Travis and Canyon.
