I didn't know that they made them in wide width . Did you buy them at the store or did you ordered off line ? Do you still have your Teva sandals ? Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video .
I just got a pair of low tops from Amazon. They are just as i remembered them. Got them in the classic black. I am considering getting two more in the red and white.
Just bought another 97 Trooper 5 speed to camp in. It could also haul parts, go to the mountains.. Very capable trucks. Previous one was my home for 6 months. Oregon to Montana, Candian Rockies, Vancouver... Had to tow a race car once.. Moved a Hammond organ.. Always started in cold weather.
Yes very cheap ,it’s a flat piece of dollar store foam but they’re still advertising the og poster foundation rigid wedge insole but that’s a complete lie and scam
I’ll sub for a free pair of PFs. I have a few pairs of their last issue with the selvedge stripe on the back. Black, white, and red highs. My favorite style. These new ones don’t have the original rigid wedge foam insole. It’s just a flat piece of pretty cheap foam. Doesn’t really matter, though. Most people take out the insole and replace it with their own. I do that. Probably why they stopped putting effort into that and maybe focused more on the upper. At Footlocker I also noticed the canvas was stiffer. Hope it lasts longer, but I never had problems with the canvas. It did feel like the difference between a regular converse all star and a 70. Thicker. Thanks for the review. No one reviews PFs and it’s a shame. They’re awesome.
excellent! just a little nitpicking: if the PVC were cut in half length wise, I believe it would have a much stronger attachment to the deck. Did you try that?
my dad has one, it has lots of problems tho, engine needs an overhaul, interior molds, broken 4WD, and many more most likely lol. Not sure if it'll ever get fixed at this point.
I'll go ahead and say it, local hicks ! I won't give them the honor of calling them redneck. Yah, that was a bad situation. I had my own encounter in Uwharrie a few months ago. Someone at 4:30 in the morning was creeping around my tent, lighting up (flashlight), my tent at all different angles. I was pretty deep in the birkhead wilderness area. I'm not going to let these losers discourage me from camping in Uwharrie. I believe that's their goal.
Does the PVC pipe really hold? It looks like the PVC pipe is going to move up when the bands are used causing the bands to contact the wood (causing friction and damage to the bands, and the plate). Has anyone else tried this??? Curious if it really works.
My buddy and I just got ourselves a minty clean '99 for dirt cheap and are stoked to do our own overland build for the Colorado mountains. Good luck with your adventure!
Did you get the misfire figured out? Just wanted to say mine had a misfire and my mechanic was bolting parts on till I was crazy. Nothing worked, and he said maybe the injectors are euchred don’t waste more money. I got looking at it and stripped back the wires going to the cylinders(coils) and whaddya know, the wire was broken inside the sheathing. Rigged up a jump wire…no more misfire! Wanted to suggest this as I was losing my mind till I found it, nd did not need to spend all that money, cheers
I like to see these different DIY footplates. This one isn't beautiful, but it's very functional. I just ordered a Clench (with a great holiday discount), but also will be making the 1" cutting board/furniture feet DIY version for travel. That cost $30.
I’m looking for a nice pair of velcro sandals that will last years and was gonna just get Teva.. I’m wondering what pair is best for around $50? They’re gonna be used out on hot and cold cement mainly walking.
I have the S version 1997 Trooper with 132,000 original miles. This replaced my 2001 version, which I should not have junked at 250K. Love these things!
I like the ends of your bar. I'm making one out of one inch pipe and filling it with concrete. Im going to steal how you did the ends because it is a better idea than i was thinking
Great stuff, I was thinking about making one of these. Interesting idea with the PVC piping. Wish you would have talk a bit more about the bar that you are using. Thanks
Injector issue is definitely electrical. Pull up schematics for it. Also, the ABS modules are known to have internal issues. I sent mine to have the internals rebuilt vs buying a used. Keep us updated & good luck brother
