We ( I and my husband) made a decision to adopt a black cat. I went on McLean County Humane Society Website. My mom took me to McLean County Humane yo meet and bring home a sweet 3yr black male cat. He was a transfer from another shelter. His name was Raymond, with agreement with my husband. I changed his name to Billy Jack. The reason for name change besides we weren't fond of the name Raymond. The reason is to long to explain..
My Calico is adorable I have had her for nearly 9 years and is my constant companion. She is extremely smart and seems to be able to read my mind, it is almost spooky at times. She is an American short hair and her coloring is beautiful. She does not meow but tries to talk and makes almost bell like sounds, it is quite unusual, I have never seen a cat do what she does, it is pleasant and endearing.
Hmm, it makes sense..Although The instructions on the box said to peel back the plastic after cutting it and scrape some of the white stuff underneath...
We have a lovely🐈⬛ and everyone we've known have been sweet babies. Superstitions about black cats are held by silly people who they themselves are in fact bad luck for Black Cats.
I had a black cat: Bubbles. I bought her on 24 Dec 1997. She was b. Aug 1996 I believe. She died 24 Oct 2016 aged over 20, so she was very lucky! Black cats are so attractive!
