@@dayzeofclarity Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I was trying to be respectful of Ethan’s time and he was very generous to speak with me for as long as he did.
@@jackparsons6299 Haha, yes. The paper quality that the comic is printed on. I pick up mainstream and independent comics on a weekly basis so it was nice to hold a quality printed book in my hands.
Dude! I like Flash Gordon's front cover and the artwork is great! I can hardly wait until Flash Gordon comes out and Defenders of the Earth is coming out in August, if I am not mistaken, guy!
Yes! I backed Inglorious Rex #2, but I didn't choose which perk I wanted so I contacted 9 Lives Comics and they let me pick it. Great customer service!
Yeah, it is pretty well stocked and all the new stuff mainstream and indy is there on a weekly basis. DC has their new comics on Tuesdays and everyone else is on Wednesdays.
@@eddihurta7173 Earlier this Spring they did Predator vs. Wolverine. It was okay. I'll get issue one and let everyone know who Aliens vs. Avengers is next month at the end of August.
There was an original single that was 64 pages by Marvel and then they reprinted issues 1 and 2 (the ones I reviewed). There may be a few others floating around, but it seems that the Marvel version was the prime one.
@@SKULLDERCOMICS IHaha, I guess I am too excited to see your video on the Illuminati Card Game that I was thinking about your video and not the Blade Runner comics. Do you have an actual set of those cards?
Thank you! Yes, it is still a lot of fun, and now that I am actually reading the articles it has an added value that I did not appreciate back in the day.
I dont care to support Cyber cuk. Evs is too busy trashing another creator to finish his campaigns. Despite many asking for refunds he hasnt honored any of them nor shown receipts. Its sad hes become the very thing he fought against. Trust me he doesnt care about what you are trying to acclompish. Try giving him some real constructive criticism and watch him make fun of you.
@@AcadianComics i didnt have to. After watching him clown upcoming creators for simply having minor critiques on his books. I even displayed to him that it wasnt necessary nor is it helpful but he still attacked his critics. A year ago i told him in the comment section the division hes creating is also not helpful especially against to the people who were rooting for him and all he did was reply with laughing emojis. Now for the last 8 months all he does is attack Rippaverse comics everyday and tells his audience not to support him. He became the very thing he hated.
EVS made double the amount of pages for Cyberfrog and as a result he had to delay other projects. double pages = more work. he's not going to work 24/7 so delay was inevitable. Eric didn't make double the pages of Yaira, and yet the book was delayed. how do you know he don't give refunds? you don't. he is not obligated to give receipts for every refund he does. no one does this, so why EVS has to do it? Eric was attacking EVS for months. he simply didn't say his name. now that EVS is the one that attacks Rippaverse suddenly he's the bad guy? gtfoh. he is not spreading any division. anyone he helps puts a knife in his back, including Eric July. how someone that is being stabbed in the back repeatedly spreads division? i bet you're upset cause he's not siding with Eric July. blame Eric July for this.
@@SKULLDERCOMICS I got a print of Attack Of The Mutant. I wanted to get a print of Night Of The Living Dummy, but I don't want that looking back at me at night on my bookcase haha.
Thank you. It was a good time, and I think meeting comic book artists if you are an aspiring artist is a healthy thing to do. They can share insights and give you advice on working in comics.
Yeah, lol. I am going to see if Walt Simonson will sign it. I never had these as a kid, but the proportion issues with the cars and the figures is just nuts.
Cool comic book haul I love to dollar bin dive the x force 8 is tricky because I think Liefeld just did the cover art for it but Mike Mignola did the interior it’s a treat mignolas art. I think Rob was on his way to image at that point during the x force run. I have to remind my self Rob was only 23 in 1991 when x force 1 came out.
Inglorious rex is my favorite comic right now. It's not deep or anything just alot of fun to read. It's like a big summer blockbuster movie but it's a comic.
Great nostalgia. Thanks for sharing. I think my first issue of Wizard was no. 3 and when my buddy showed it to me in Jr. High I couldn't believe there could be a magazine about comics. Small town Alberta. If 7-11 or the gas station didn't get it in we'd all pester our parents to go by a comic shop on Calgary or Medicine Hat on the semi-monthly shopping trips we'd do.
Thank you! Ah, those were the days. No internet, no RU-vid, just seeking out what you liked at physical locations. To an extent, I still do that when I got to comic shops.
Really cool, futuristic page designs, play of light and darkness makes each panel rise from its' 2D world. Brilliant artwork from a brilliant mind. What a treasure!!!
9:15 again! Pure laziness!!!! This is boring characters just standing!!!! No expressions! Just excessive word balloons!!! Dude should've just wrote a novel! Would've been 7.99 instead of this overpriced hack job.
