where did you put the SIM?? I can't quite find the slot for the memory card, it doesn't have a sim slot and it doesn't seem to work without a sim card. or I don't want to connect it to wifi so that it works without sim only on wifi
Absolutely fantastic family picture as well as memories. Great rifle. I just picked up a 1977 Marlin 782 .22WMR myself. She needs some work but I'll clean her up bub. Thank you very much for sharing your piece and family photo. Rob Collier in ohio.
I believe the LDMOS failure is due to the fact it needs to be soldered to the heat riser, I have never seen an LDMOS not soldered to the copper heat spreader. there needs to be a robust electrical connection and the heat transfer is much better if the device is soldered. Looks to me the failures are due to Over Heating. LDMOS are very robust , but when over heated they fail quicklty..
Hello PaulZ, Naw they are fine and the failures were accountable for various reasons. This was 5 years ago and the 2 amps that I have are working great with heavy use, although I try and keep them around 1KW or less, normally. Newer versions of this amp are not soldered but they changed the method they are dissipating heat to the pallat.
@@JayUJay Sorry I do disagree I have worked with many and all the failures were due to not being soldered LDMOS do not fail when shorted or opened load when operating they are very robust, You will read the perferred method is soldering, I speaking from experience.. No hard feelings and good luck and best of 73
Thanks for posting this. I found it helpful. My G-800 about one year old, indicator started jumping around. From watching your video I suspected the POT in the motor assembly. Bench testing, I realized the rotor was working fine, just the indicator was jumpy. I suspected dust or mico-debris in the POT. Rather than remove the POT to disassemble or replace, I drilled a small hole in the POT cover without removing it (think Dremel with small bit) and sprayed some electronic cleaner in the hole. After a few cycles of rotation the jumpy needle fixed. I'll put it back up on tower and keep fingers crossed.
I own one of these and it's a super fun gun when it works. But it's crazy picky about ammo. Some ammo, it will run flawless and some ammo it will FTE every round. Crazy.
@@JayUJay Man I wish I had that experience. I"ve owned a few semi auto .22s and they were all somewhat picky. I've never seen a .22 semi pistol that would "eat anything". having said that, this PK22 is worse than most, but still, .22s just seems to be the most finicky. I have always assumed it's because .22 ammo is so inconsistent in power, build quality, materials, etc. Combined with that fact that most of the models out there are relatively cheap.
Yeah, there wasn't really instruction and I have since sold these off. I essentially put a 'Unified Microsystems BCD' decoder and hard wired the selection and re-wired the DIN connector to accept band data output from the radio.
I found the issue.. the mag does not sit tight when Inserted. So loosely seated the mag locks into place but falls to low for the receiver to grab the next round. I didn't know unto watching your video and Inserted the mag without the receiver. Doing so gave me visual access and that is what my analysis is.
I have the American Arms PK-22... I use Remington golden bullets, and it never miss fires. It needs the highest fps ammo you can get. Or maybe I just got lucky.
Just had a tech out to our rig to do this for us (can't do this kind of stuff anymore). For some reason, he thought he wouldn't need to install the new circuit board and could and just go off the old one. NOPE. Didn't discover that until right after he left. None of the stuff that's on the original circuit board is working. Sigh.
Nice video for CW YTube junkies like me. Well mounted camera and realistic audio. Surprised only 25 likes and 4 comments over 5 years. Would have expected more. Probably jinxed because Jings was not given enough camera time :-)
Jings doesn't live in the shack/Garage anymore... she is now in the house. I do miss her during operating but get to enjoy her all of the time now. But! I think you are right!
Good idea to get people to click, having your cat up there. I thought I was the only one with that problem. I have a cat always trying to help, but he knows nothing about fixing cars. LOL
Yes, that Exactly... In the Accord- you can disable the auto shut off by hitting a button on the center console. There is no way to disable it permanently. This thing/The IdleStopper simulates hitting the button a few seconds after starting the car. I dislike that feature and so does the car owner.
Yeah, I think he was triggered from me changing lanes in front of him when I tried to pass a car... But wildly unsafe and should not be on the road with that sort of rage.
@@JayUJay What kind of car do you drive? Is it a diesel truck? If it is a truck or large SUV, (especially if it's a diesel car) he might have been triggered by you passing him and placing yourself in front of him, with him assuming it was done to prove dominance. Its well known that some truck or large SUV owners in the US have a lot of spite against Teslas, whether through what i described above, Iceing Tesla Superchargers (purposely blocking Superchargers), or if diesel, rolling coal on them. Regardless, driving like that is totally wrong and will do nothing but cause an accident, even if you get purposely passed or rolled coal on (not that you did that).
