Hey, thanks for the comment. I am using Davinci resolve and unfortunately even the deflicker tool on there didn't work. However, I have now managed to fix it by adjusting the frames per second when taking the footage. The area where I love runs on a 50 hz electric grid and so I was using 60 FPS which was out of sync. I have now changed the FPS to 25 which is divisible from 50 hz / FPS and it's fixed it up. Unfortunately if I want to access the 50 FPS setting on my phone which will provide a much smoother experience, I have to pay for other software that unlocks that setting, which is really cheeky in my opinion. I can't afford to pay for the software yet, but as the channel grows I hope that I can improve the quality even more. 😊

This is an excellent video. You're doing a great job. What I'd only recommend is try to close your eyes when you get the massage. It'd be more relaxing for you, more for the barber and definitely more for us. This gentleman gives a great massage!
@@BarbersOfJapan Thanks for replying. Yeah, I saw that you're holding the camera yourself, which can be challenging with closed eyes. A thin, floor stand might help to put the camera on there? Or, if that's ok with the barber, put it on the table in front of you? Great work, I love what you're doing!!!!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that, it's a bit of a challenge at the moment as I'm getting more no's than yes's with regards to filming, but once I get a few barbers on board then it will make for a great foundation. I can film friends, models and customers quite easily, still trying to nail down how I film my own haircuts. I have finally managed to adjust the frame rate so all cameras should be in sync and not look so dark any more.

Hi Everett. This is Luke, the owner of the channel. I have forwarded your message to Ikeda San. I am also the cameraman. I'm finding it hard to calibrate the camera to the Japanese lighting frequency, but it's a work in progress. Boom! The First Video of this Channel. Welcome! I Still need to go over the Subtitles as they are not 100% however ideally the channel won't have a lot of talking and it will be more about the atmosphere and therapeutic movement. In time I hope to level up my gear so I can provide you with an Asmr experience and a camera that has a more customizable frame rate to stop the Flickering.
