'Try them both and see which you prefer' isn't much of an answer, especially to a beginner. What differences would someone be likely to notice? Is one hotter than the other? Does it affect the mouthfeel or flavor profile? Which do you prefer and why? Surely a seasoned smoker with experience with both could offer a bit more meaningful content.
Spring or purified water does work. Ive used it for years with zero issue. This is my experiance. Your's may be different. But even opening your humidor and reaching in for a stick will introduce all those same contaminents to your cigars. Tap water is a big no no, but purifird or spring water works just as well as distilled water in my experiance as a cigar smoker.
Many claim a can of Chef Boiardi ravioli is delicious. But compare the Ravioli entre from the Chef Ramsey Restaurant...Huge difference! Cuban cigars are just better COMPARED TO new world.
As someone who smoked a hundred plus Dominicans, Nicaraguans, Cameroonians and others before having legendary Cuban varietals, yes, yes they are better. No doubt about it.
I had my 1st fired cured today, just a last minute grab at the shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the complex yet cohesive flavor profile. It was bold, yet sweet and smooth. As someone who only smokes seldomly it was fun to identify more nuance than I do when smoking a typical cigar, due to my under developed palette. 💨
Yes, blatantly, your going to continue "enjoying your cigar" but suffering the concequences and never compensating society for all the damage you do to it.
"My choice" must not be to intrud into the noce of others making them second-hand smokers, and propagating that deceitful theory to justify it. "My choice" does not justify trumping on the healthy choice of others.
Yes, you are an adult capable of making your own decisions just like a child. But you have no right to push it on others. I have never known any smoker that does not pushes his moke on others, and you are doing it even from a video.
